How many waitlisted candidates clear on an average in IPM IIM Indore in General and OBC Categories?
Around 80 waitlisted candidates manage to clear on average in IPM IIM Indore. The main reason is that most students consider IPM as another option like engineering. The course is good and not exaggerated.

I have a few friends from KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, so I can give you some insight into their BMS course.
KJ Somiya is not a good option if you really want to pursue BMS for knowledge and not just for the sake of a degree. The teaching experience for BMS at KJ Somiya will not be satisfactory.
If you prefer knowledge over a degree, then you should go to some other better colleges such as MCC in Mulund. But, if you just want a degree in BMS then you can opt for KJ Somaiya. KJ Somaiya has a huge campus. This is advantageous if you want to bunk lectures and have fun sometimes.
Is there any group discussion round for a BBA at Doon Business School?
Yes, the admission procedure for BBA at Doon Business School includes a group discussion round. The shortlisted candidates need to attend a GD-PI round for final selection. Doon Business School will consider your past academic record, entrance test score, and performance in the GD-PI round for admission to the program.
Is Integrated programme of management of IIM Bodh Gaya worth it?
Whether a course is suitable for a person depends solely on what he wants from the course and his priorities. You cannot generalize a course's value. Yet, in my opinion, it’s a course worth doing for everyone. Some points that speak in favor of this program are
- Unlike the general misconception of IPM being lower in terms of degree, the IPM program at IIM Bodh Gaya offers dual degrees to its students (B.A (Foundations in Management) and a normal MBA).
- Despite being a new IIM, it has carried the legacy of IIM and has proven its worth through its fast-paced growth and 100% placement percentage.
- IIM Bodh Gaya maintains strong international relations with world-class educational institutes like SolBridge International School of Business in South Korea and Montpellier Business School in France through its elite student exchange program
- Its location is one of the reasons many students choose it over other new IIMs. It’s located just 7 km away from the Gaya airport at a Buddhist tourist spot.
So IIM Bodh Gaya in general and its IPM program especially is worth taking.
Would people recommend Alliance University for a BBA?
A relative of mine is an alumnus of Alliance University and he is not sure about recommending the institute as a suitable option for academics.
- If you study in this institute it can give causes for uncertainty. There are a lot of options you can look for.
- International business is offered as a major in MBA. But it fails to attract a sizable number of students to its campus. This goes for Alliance University in general as well.
- If your goal is to join a business school then this university should not be on your list. There are far better business schools in the country.
- There is no entrepreneurship specialization either in Alliance University.

My brother completed his BBA from NMIMS Mumbai in 2016 and during his time the average package was INR 3 LPA. Currently, the median salary is INR 4.8 LPA. How is the life of an IPM-IIM Indore student from studies and extra curricular activities to hostel life?
The life of a student pursuing IPM at IIM Indore can be very hectic. Over the years, IPM has evolved a lot and is attracting more and more students as the years go by.
It is a tiring course, however. There is a lot of diversity in the IPM course. It also has a Student Activity Council (SAC). Its function is to organize events for the students in various domains. It is also in charge of conducting other activities and festivals on the campus and also acts as a bridge between IPM and IIM Indore.
This council has four committees, three clubs, 12 special interest groups, and the main teams of the national-level festivals of IPM.
The three clubs of IPM are as follows.
- IPM Activity Club: This club is in charge of organizing various activities for the students and also provides opportunities for honing their co-curricular skills. This club also aims to improve the social life of the students. It also takes steps to organize trips for the students and organizing well-earned breaks for them.
- IPM Entrepreneurship Cell: IPM tries its best to promote entrepreneurship by facilitating a channel of resources of value. The E-cell offers opportunities for live projects and internships to enhance their experience and have an in-depth knowledge of the industry.
