No, there are no attached washrooms in IIT Kanpur. There are 2 common washrooms meant to be used by the students on the entire floor. Additionally, there are 8 wash basins, 4 toilets, and 4 bathing areas. You also have a geyser and a washing machine to do your laundry.
The washrooms are cleaned regularly and hygienic conditions are maintained. Utmost hygiene is taken care of and it is cleaned and maintained regularly.
You will find no spacious rooms, or attached washrooms here. In fact, it’s the lack of such luxuries that makes hostel life extraordinary.
How is the college life in Amity University, Noida?
Amity University offers a decent academic environment. You will interact with students from all over the country and also international students. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that students can take part in, especially for the freshers.
There is an inter-sports event named SANGATHA which includes various sports activities and on the final day of the event the winning team is awarded. The library is equipped with thousands of books and internet facilities. The college has strict prohibitions on ragging. One of my friends studies in IET DAVV and as per him most of the companies visiting both the institutes consequently are Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Accenture. There are few companies that visit both campuses.
But the IET DAVV placement cell is better than SGSITS. As it has a better placement head. They will help students over getting a job.
Therefore, if you are skeptical about choosing between IET DAVV CSE and SGSITS IT, then choose the former, as it has a better placement record than the latter.
