It is understandable that your 12th and graduation scores are not up to the mark for the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) A, B, and I. Even IIM L may also be difficult for you to secure a call from because of your low scores. However, it is important for you to know that there are other options available to you. Even though it may be challenging, it is still possible to secure a call from IIM C and IIM K with a very high CAT score of 99.9 or above. Unfortunately, it seems that IIM Shillong may also not be an option for you due to your low score in 12th.
Given this situation, it is advisable for you to give your best effort in preparing for the Common Admission Test (CAT) and also consider appearing for other entrance exams like the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT). With a decent CAT score of 99.8 or above, you may have a chance at prestigious institutes like the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), the Management Development Institute (MDI), and some Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Additionally, keep in mind that the weightage of the entrance exam and interview is very high for IIFT, so it is important for you to prepare well for that as well.
It is worth mentioning that, although your current scores may seem like a setback, it does not mean that your aspirations should be limited. Keep in mind that there are many other options available, and with hard work and determination, you can still achieve your goals. Remember to keep your head held high and keep pushing forward.

All these colleges are good at their own places and in terms of ranking. It becomes difficult to arrange these colleges in terms of education quality as everyone possesses a good hold on education.
The quality is the same and it all depends upon the students. There are few who don’t get a job even after 3 years of grad and while some are hard workers.
Let’s take a look below at the arrangement of these colleges: CBIT>VASAVI> MVSR >VNR >SNIST>MGIT>GRRR
These particular colleges contain what matters the most. They have the best professors as they need to maintain their repo. One of my friends is an alumnus from VNR and told me that these colleges have everything that you would want into Engineering.
VASAVI too has its own ways, which do well. CBIT and SNIST are also good. CBIT and VNR are a little freedom-giving. None of the four compromises on the students’ education track record.
Initially, you must avoid studying with the expectation that you will automatically receive an S. This tactic might fail at times. The following are some of the key points:
Grading of the internal exam:
Highly unexpected. The outcome is unpredictable. You will succeed as long as you are the lecturer's favorite student. You have access to your internal answer sheets, so you can check for errors.
Lecturers can select results from any assignment, unexpected test, or presentation to evaluate their internals. Never offend your lecturer; otherwise, your chances of receiving good internal marks will be greatly reduced.
Practical examinations.
If you excel at practical work, you may wind up doing all the work in your group and ultimately receive an equal evaluation. In all honesty, nobody really cares how knowledgeable you are. They don't bother as long as your answer sheets, practical book, and reports satisfy their requirements. The e-assignments aren't even examined for plagiarism or other forms of cheating. They may request CDs containing your assignments or reports, but they won't even get to their systems' drives.
External examinations.
Some professors who excel in their fields generally receive fair evaluations. There are times when it may even seem as though the entire class received the same grade. You are never given access to the actual answer sheet, so there is no way to know for sure how they will score you.
Instead of worrying about how to get good grades, focus on mastering the subject by understanding it in a detailed manner. Although mastering every subject is immensely challenging, it is possible to be an expert in at least two or three of them. It will undoubtedly be beneficial in the long run.
It is advised to look for a regular university for a Master in Economics, such as DSE or JNU.
If you don't have any other options, take admission here. There is nothing difficult for economics students to achieve good grades in MA Economics.
The exams are mostly graduation-based, but you must be certain that you understand everything you were taught during your graduation. You must not overlook any important terms, theories, concepts, or anything else.
If you are taking the MA economics exam for the first time at IGNOU, read everything you learned in graduation as well as the materials provided by IGNOU.
To begin, one must mentally prepare to continue reading newspapers every day and attempting to comprehend editorial opinions and social issues. It would be beneficial to read some philosophy books based on your own understanding, thereby increasing your ability to think about society in terms of how well-educated people perceive women, girls, and people's difficulties. A good understanding of General Studies and your 12th-class texts from the Arts field is required.
The entrance exam is not based on math, reasoning, or English; rather, it is based on your social background, as well as your opinion and mindset. This entrance has only 20 or 30 seats. So be cautious, and good planning will ensure your success.
If you are considering IIIT Bangalore and IIIT Allahabad for your undergraduate studies in computer science and information technology, there are several factors you should take into account before making a decision.
Before making a decision, it is essential to weigh the pros and cons of both institutes and determine which factors are most important to you. Consider factors such as city connect, peer group, course structure, focus on academics or extracurricular activities, and the environment that would help you thrive. With careful consideration, you can choose the institute that is the best fit for you and your goals.

IIT Gandhinagar has some of the best hostels among all the IITs. My cousin studying here once visited IIT Roorkee for the Inter-IIT cultural meet and concluded that their own hostels were the best. Additionally, she also participated in Invent@IITGN wherein she worked with people from 8 other IITs. They too said the same things that IIT Gandhinagar has the best hostel and mess facilities
Here are some detailed features of the accommodation facilities here
In a nutshell, the hostels at IIT Gandhinagar are the best among all IITs!
The average packages of “Applied Geology” or any other branch apart from CS, ECE, EE, and MnC are highly misleading as they include both core and non-core jobs with non-core jobs forming the majority.
In reality, IIT campus placements offer very few core jobs in certain departments and Applied Geology Is one of them. So most of the students tend to go for Non-Core jobs related to their field of interest like Coding, Finance, Data Analysis, etc. The number of companies offering core jobs in departments such as Mechanical or Chemical is very low. So out of the entire batch, only toppers are offered core jobs while the rest go for non-core jobs. The placement percentage is a combination of both these jobs and thus cannot tell you specifically about the placements of that particular department.
On an average batch size of 25-30 students, only 4-5 get core jobs in Applied Geology while the rest get non-core jobs. So your skills and abilities matter a lot during such branch placements. The median salary of Applied Geology is around INR 15 LPA and some top recruiters include Capgemini, Cipla, Cognizant, Genpact, IBM, ICICI, Just dial, Oil India Limited, YesBank, and more.
