Are candidates who take the production and industrial engineering GATE eligible for NITIE programmes?
Yes, NITIE accepts applications from students from almost every branch of engineering. This is applicable for production and industrial engineering as well. You can apply for NITIE through GATE or CAT. However, going by the cutoff trends, you need to have tp AIR rank in GATE IPE to get admission at NITIE.

As per placements-
- During 2022, B.Tech ECE at MNIT Jaipur recorded 97.75% placements, and the average package was 18.01 LPA.
- During 2022, MANIT Bhopal B.Tech CSE recorded an average CTC of 17.45 LPA.
- This year, B.Tech Mechanical at MNNIT Allahabad recorded 90.24% placements, and the average CTC was 12.51 LPA.
Based on the average package, I would recommend you opt for either MNIT Jaipur ECE or MANIT Bhopal CSE. MANIT Bhopal is a good option for B.Tech CSE. You’ll have good placement prospects as a CSE student at this college. Do consult some seniors from all these colleges/branches to make a more informed choice.

As per the eligibility criteria for B.Tech programs at CUSAT, the applicants must have cleared their +2 from a recognized board/university with 60% overall. They must have taken Physics, Chemistry and Maths in their 11th and 12th, and scored at least 50% in Maths. They must have also attained 50% in their Physics, Chemistry and Maths scores put together.
This eligibility criteria applies to you as well. Certain communities from Kerala are provided relaxation, but this does not apply to students from outside Kerala.
Can I get an admission in IIM Ahmedabad if I got 71% in 10th and 76% in 12th?
Whether or not you will get admission in IIM Ahmedabad depends on factors such as your stream in 12th, your undergraduate score, and branch. IIM Ahmedabad also considers relevant work experience (if any).

If you are an engineering student you will need to score 100 percentile in CAT to get a call. As IIM A has an 80% cutoff for science students. If you are from Arts or Commerce, having 98+ percentile and 85% in graduation should get you an interview call. If you are from streams like Law, Hotel management, etc, you will need to score around 96 percentile to get a call, provided you have good grades in graduation.
How many marks are needed to get into IIT BHU?
If you are taking JEE Advance in 2020 then you can refer to 2019 opening and closing rank for IIT BHU. Each year the difference between the previous and current year’s rank is minimal and the cut off is expected to be close. The cut-off may vary each year depending upon various factors such as the number of students appearing and difficulty level. Usually, seven rounds of counselling are expected to take place.
Can I get into IIM Trichy with a CGPA between 6.5-7.00?
Past academics are one of the many criteria for admission to IIM Trichy. It has a certain weightage but not more than a CAT score. So if you think you have a low CGPA, you should target a very high CAT percentile, something above 98. You can also prepare well for the interviews beforehand to compensate for your low undergraduate scores. One important thing to keep in mind is when asked during the interview the reason behind your low scores, you should have a viable and reasonable answer. There is no specific percentile that will get you into IIM Calcutta. But if you want to stay on the safer side you meet to score at least 99.65-99.70+ in CAT. The minimum cutoff required for the general category remained 85 percentile, however, the actual cutoff to get a call remained much higher i.e around 98-99 percentile.

What is the eligibility of the CEED examination?
According to the CEED website, you should have completed your degree/ diploma/ post graduate with a minimum duration of three years in a relevant field of study. This can include engineering, structure, design, or planning. Students who have completed the GD Arts diploma program (10+5) before July 2021 are also eligible to apply.
You have to clear your final examination before July 2021 to apply for the upcoming academic year. The eligibility criteria depend on the institute. Check the individual requirements of the design institutes you are looking to apply for.
Required Score:
If you have a minimum score of 7.0 from a branch of IIT, then you will be directly eligible to apply for CEED.
Registration Fee:
- In order to register, you have to log into the CEED website online and fill out an application form with a non-refundable registration fee.
- The registration fee is 1300 for female candidates and 2600 for all other candidates.
Age Limit:
- There is no specific age limit to apply for CEED and students can appear for the exam multiple times.
- The applications are done all through September to November.
- You need to pay a late fee of INR 500 should you send in a late application.
