Choosing MBBS from AIIMS Delhi over Lady Hardinge Medical College is definitely a significant decision! Here’s why:

However, it’s important to note that getting into AIIMS requires a genius-level mindset and immense hard work. Students who make it there are not only intelligent but also incredibly dedicated.

Now, students in other AIIMS-like institutes are also bright and carry the AIIMS tag, which is globally recognized. But they may not receive the same depth of learning as at AIIMS Delhi.

Then, there are those studying in top-tier colleges like KGMU, MAMC, and AFMC. They’re also pursuing their dreams and have a fair chance of success.

Lastly, students in average colleges may feel a mix of emotions. Some are content with securing a college seat, while others might regret not making it to their dream college but couldn’t try again for various reasons.

These are just my personal opinions!

AIIMS Delhi clearly stands out when it comes to internships and career outcomes. The medical internship begins in the 5th year, offering students hands-on experience with seasoned doctors and access to state-of-the-art equipment, plus a lucrative stipend of around Rs.30,000, which is among the highest in the country. KGMU, while reputable, doesn’t quite match the extensive clinical exposure and resources available at AIIMS. The curriculum at AIIMS also emphasizes a high level of clinical training from early on, making graduates more competitive in the job market. If you're aiming for an exceptional medical career with robust internship opportunities, AIIMS Delhi is the better choice; however, if you prefer a more relaxed environment and a solid education, KGMU can still be a good fit.

AIIMS Delhi clearly stands out when you compare it to KGMU for MBBS. The fees at AIIMS are ridiculously low at around Rs.5,856 for five years, while KGMU's fees can be significantly higher, impacting the overall financial burden. With AIIMS, you also get a top-notch curriculum, extensive clinical exposure from the 5th year, and a generous stipend of Rs.30,000 during your internship, giving you excellent ROI. Plus, the campus life and faculty credentials at AIIMS are hard to beat. If you can get into AIIMS Delhi, it's definitely a smarter financial choice, especially if you're serious about a career in medicine. KGMU might be a decent option if you live nearby and prefer a different environment, but for the best value for money, AIIMS is the clear winner.

College fees was about 20,000 and hostel fees at the start was 30,000 and monthly mess fees would be around 3000. Scholarship was based on all India quota also I guess. And books and others round upto 6000 each person.

For my medical field i feel some subjects are unnecessary in my view point like the community medicines. I feel anatomy weightage should be more compared to buochemistrand physiology. I would like them to improve the chapters and remove chalters that are unnecessary so that we medical students can concentrate on whats inportant rather than studying everything and stuffing our brain.

The person can either join the forces of can opt to pay out to join the internship the payment in the services is quite good approximately 100k per month starting and the internship is provided in the military hospital across the country

I applied for AIIMS Delhi , JIPMER and Madras medical College and i couldn't get in AIIMS and JIPMER because of inadequate marks but i chose AFMC over MMC because there are good facilities, varoius co curricular activities and job security here in AFMC. To get into AFMC you should pass in NEET UG and apply willing for Afmc in all india counselling. Shortlisted candidates will be called for screening. There will be a written exam called TOelr , an interview and a medical checkup. Out of this only 150 are chosen.

We paid a sum of Rs 88,000 at the time of admission . After that there is a monthly fee of Rs 2000 for mess and hostel and a term fees varying from 3000 to 5000 rs every 3 to 4 months. Apart from this there is examination fees to be paid to university at the time of final exams. The college provides us with allowance of Rs 1250 every month for expenses and book allowances and uniform allowances at the start of each year. There are no scholarships available

The curriculum is well prepared so that students as future doctor perform well in the out side word. There are lot of training sessions making us kearn the art of medicine . There are two internal exams and one university exam per year
