Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Noida is a deemed university and has been accredited grade ‘A’ by the NAAC. BBA at the college is ranked 18th by Times 2019 Rankings.

MSI & MAIMS:

• The minimum eligibility criteria for the course is having cleared 10+2 examinations with 50% aggregate. 
• Further, students are selected on the basis of rank secured in IPU-CET, the common entrance examination for IPU colleges. 
• The colleges have a total of 300 & 240 seats available respectively.

SCMS Noida & Pune: 

• Admission criteria for this college is having scored a 50% in your 10+2 examinations. 
• Further, students are shortlisted on the basis of the common entrance exam conducted by the college, SET, and Personal Interview and Written Ability Test scores. 
• The course has a total of 300 seats available in both colleges

Placements

• MSI:The course has a placement rate of 60%. Top recruiters include Wipro, SAP Labs, Infosys, and Deloitte. The average offer received by students of BBA is 4LPA. The highest package goes up to a whopping 17LPA.
• SCMS Noida:The course has a placement rate of 90%. Top recruiters include KPMG, EY, and FIS. The average offer received by students of BBA is 5LPA. The highest package goes up to a whopping 12LPA.
• SCMS Pune:The course has a placement rate of 95%. Top recruiters include KPMG, Tommy Hilfiger, Amul and Zomato. The average offer received by students of BBA is 5LPA. The highest package goes up to a whopping 17LPA.
• MAIMS:The course has a placement rate of 65%. Top recruiters include Wipro, IBM and Deloitte. The average offer received by students of BBA is 3.5LPA. The highest package goes up to 7LPA.

All four colleges have been ranked among the top private BBA institutes in India, with SCMS Pune and MSI being ranked highest among the four. The two IP colleges offer their courses at a lower fees, while the Symbiosis colleges provide better infrastructure facilities. Symbiosis Pune is a clear winner among the four, while MSI and Symbiosis Noida would be placed second and MAIMS comes in last. However, a preference among the four depends upon the importance of each parameter for the student.

IIM Indore is ranked 12th in the Outlook ICare MBA Ranking 2021. It is one of the most prestigious management institutes in India with a huge brand name.

• IIM Indore offers PGP as its flagship program. 
• But it also offers a dual-degree program, IPM (Integrated Programme in Management). It commenced in the year 2011.
• An MBA degree after the IPM program is equivalent to the PGP program of IIM Indore. 
• Even the placements for both programs are together. 
• However, if the PGP candidate is a graduate from the top IIT, he will have IIT+IIM degrees, which will be an edge over the IPM program by IIM Indore.

Overall, the prestige of this course will grow in the future when the alumni base for the program will strengthen.

One of my cousins graduated from IIM Indore and according to him, it is not really a disadvantage.

• Extra-curricular serves the purpose of letting you speak about something other than your regular academics. It shows the panelists that you not just focused on your academics but you were also active in other activities.
• Now, not having extracurricular achievements does not mean you won’t be able to talk about anything. Be thorough in your subjects from 12th grade. Make sure you know the relevant concepts and can apply them in real-life situations. 
• Also, know about your school, its history, and basic trivia around it. Know about your home state - famous personalities belonging to your state, dance forms, festivals, and the likes.
• Talk about your hobbies and about how you've developed them over the years. 

Lastly, be aware of current affairs. Read newspapers regularly and make sure you are able to form opinions and support them with logical facts.

Integrated Program in Management (IPM) in IIM Indore provides a very good foundation for the management course. It has a total intake of 120 students each year and the course has grown over the years.

Here are some of the reasons why you should join this course.

• Academic Curriculum – In the first three years, you will learn mathematics, statistics, humanities, economics, and communication skills. The combination of real-life applications of theories learned through science, out-of-the-box thinking through humanities, and effective communication skills help to build a solid platform for you to become a great future manager.
• Campus and degree – The campus is beautiful and there are absolutely no ragging issues that you will face here. It offers a dual degree; BA foundations in management and MBA which is really good for your career.
• Placements – Take a look at some of the statistics for the batch which passed out of the college in 2021. Please note that the placements for IPM and MBA students take place together, so there is no way to know the actual figures for only the IPM batch.

All in all, there are various compelling reasons for you to join the IPM course at IIM Indore. But it should be your choice rather than because I am telling you.
