When comparing BITS Pilani with BITS Goa, there are several factors that you should consider before making your decision:

• Alumni strength: Pilani has a much older and more established campus, which means it has a larger alumni network in key positions in the government and private sectors. Goa, being a newer campus, has had a head start of only 19 years compared to Pilani's 59 years.
• Student quality: Pilani has slightly smarter students than Goa, based on the difference in cutoffs between CSE + core branches in Pilani and Goa. The average difference is around 25, and for MSc branches, it's about 15-20. This points to the fact that Pilani folks are slightly smarter and more hardworking than Goa students, at least before joining the college.
• Placements: BITS Pilani has an excellent placement record, with a 31.5% increase in average salary and a 35% increase in the highest salary over the previous year. The highest salary was INR 60.75 LPA, and the average salary was INR 30.7 LPA, with 109 recruiters participating in the placement drive. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Visa, Adobe, and Cisco are among the top recruiters. While BITS Goa also has a consistently good placement record, it is slightly behind BITS Pilani in terms of average and highest salaries.
• Faculty: BITS Pilani has a larger and more established campus with highly qualified and experienced faculty, but BITS Goa also has talented and experienced faculty.
• Infrastructure: Both campuses have good infrastructure, but BITS Pilani has a larger campus and more facilities, which can sometimes make a difference in the quality of education.

Ultimately, the decision of whether to choose BITS Pilani or BITS Goa should be based on your personal preferences and goals. While BITS Pilani may have a slight edge in terms of faculty and infrastructure, BITS Goa is also a good viable option with a good reputation.

Delhi University is a better option. It is a central university, while MU is a state university. DU receives humongous funding from the central government. Naturally, it stands much higher than any state university including MU. It offers better education, infrastructure, and research opportunities. 

DU has hardly 100 affiliated colleges. So, it’s easier for the administration to make sure the education process is smooth. MU has over 1100 colleges. Handling so many colleges, hampers the fundamentals of education, at times. 

Overall, DU is more organized and offers better education and learning opportunities. 

All the aforementioned institutes, DTU, BITS, NSIT, and IIIT Delhi are excellent colleges that are well-recognized in the tech sector. As a whole the curriculum and placement opportunities for CS offered by these colleges are quite similar. The average package varies slightly but the individual differences compensate for that. Here is a comparative analysis of the placement statistics of these colleges 

However, if you look from the angle of research , IIIT Delhi certainly is way ahead than the other colleges. Its research-oriented institute is primarily established to conduct cutting-edge research in the field of CS. While BITS Pilani also has a decent research culture, DTU, and NSUT are nowhere near IIIT Delhi in terms of research. IIIT Delhi students have a lot of projects to work on under highly learned and passionate faculties. The exposure these students receive is unmatched and they are offered excellent opportunities in terms of both in industry and for higher education.

So if you want both excellent placements and research opportunities go for IIIT Delhi but if you want a good campus life too that is less focused on research go for BITS Pilani.

Yes, Amrita University Coimbatore is better than PSG Tech. It is one of the top deemed universities in India. It has MoU with reputed universities across the world for collaborative student exchange. So, you will get global exposure. 

Amrita has a diverse student crowd. There are students from all across the country as well as outside of the country. You will get to have a shared campus experience with many talented students. The peer group of Amrita is excellent as it takes admission through AEEE and JEE. 

The institute has a great placement record as well. According to the recent placement highlights, students of Amrita University Coimbatore get an average CTC of around INR 5.8 LPA. While the highest CTC offered to students is around INR 56 LPA. 

One of my friends was in a similar dilemma last year when she had to choose between NIT, Kurukshetra, and PEC, Chandigarh. However, she went on to chew NIT Kurukshetra over PEC and stated the reasons below for her choice 

• Campus: NIT Kurukshetra has a beautiful and more facilitated infrastructure that gives an edge to PEC Chandigarh.
• Accreditation: NIT Kurukshetra is an NBA-accredited institute and thus has an upper hand over the PEC Chandigarh. 
• Syllabus: NIT Kurukshetra frequently updates its syllabus to keep it at par with the recent industrial trends and enables the students to study branch-specific subjects right from the first year.
• Location: Undoubtedly, PEC Chandigarh seems to be at an advantage here. Chandigarh is a much more happening place. It’s a perfect place for students planning to appear for civil services, GATE, etc 
• Placements: The table below draws a brief comparison of the placement statistics of these institutes 

In my opinion, too, NIT Kurukshetra seems to be the better option among the two.

I will mention the placement statistics of both and let you decide if IIM Calcutta has placements as good as that of IIM Ahmedabad.

Following are my insight from the above comparison:

• Almost all students of both institutes IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta are placed so there isn’t much difference.
• Moreover, the median packages are similar proving that the placement scenario is similar.

So I don’t think there is much difference between the placement scenarios at IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta.
