Is an MBA From LBSIM worth it?
Yes, an MBA from LBSIM is worth the investment. It has a 100% placement record and offers great ROI. LBSIM placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 11.30 LPA.
The academics are effective. You will learn through live projects and hands-on experience. It is a student-driven institute, during your MBA, you will get to learn each and every aspect of the industry. There are many academic and non-academic clubs at LBSIM, that help student lay off stress. LBSIM alumni are working at reputed companies like the Big four, Crisil, Marsh & Mclennan, etc.
Which one is better for CSE: IIT Patna, IIT Mandi, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Bhubaneswar or IIT(ISM), Dhanbad??
I am a CSE student at IIT Patna and I will try to justify why choosing IIT Patna for your
CSE is a good decision. Don’t base your choice on how old an institution is.
All the new IITs like IIT Patna or IIT Jodhpur are doing exceptionally well, some are even competing against the old IITs. IIT Patna has a great campus and it has achieved tremendous success in a short span of time.
CSE department has a learned and supportive faculty and great seniors. The teams have always performed exceptionally well in the ACM-ICPC and have even made it to the world finals. A good number of students clear the GSoC( Google Summer of Code).
NJACK club organizes tutorial classes and workshops on Web development, App development, Android, etc. It also organizes competitions like Capture the Flag, NWoC-an open source coding event, and other competitions throughout the year.
Other interdisciplinary teams which you can join are ROBOCON, Supra BAJA, HPVC etc.
CSE alums at IIT Patna have made successful startups and others are working in good positions at top MNCs. Overall, the coding culture over here is excellent.
The placements for the CSE department are quite impressive. For 2023 placements, the highest package stood at INR 82.05 LPA. The average package stood at INR 35.57 LPA and the median package stood at INR 32.85 LPA. 98.65% of students from the CSE branch were placed.
In the end, whether you choose IIT Jodhpur, IIT Mandi, IIT Patna, or any other institution, the choice should be based on your personal preference. However, I would suggest you choose IIT Patna CSE as I am quite satisfied with my choice.
Why is CSE at NSIT considered better than CSE at DTU?
There are many reasons why some students prefer CSE at NSIT to CSE at DTU. I have listed some strong reasons below:
- NSIT has a smaller batch size which in turn means the level of competition faced by the students is comparatively low. You can get good job profiles way more easily than at an institute with a higher intake like DTU.
- NSIT awards you a degree from DU, one of the most globally recognized and reputed universities. This helps you pursue higher studies in foreign countries easily.
- Quite a few NSIT students are able to secure high packages in top companies like Facebook while DTU because of its large batch size has only a few that get 1 cr+ packages.
- One of the major reasons why someone would prefer NSIT over DTU is that it’s quite difficult to get a hostel in DTU especially if you are a resident of Delhi.
If you consider these reasons valid, go for NSIT instead of DTU.
Which colleges in DU offer BCom Hons without math?
Every college at Delhi University offers B.Com (Hons) without including math in your best four, despite the fact that math should be a subject in your 12th grade.
It is to take into account that to be admitted to an undergraduate course that requires a specific subject or a group of subjects, candidates must have passed the subject/each of the subjects individually.
How good is the department of financial studies MBA (FM), Delhi University?
My brother was a student at this college and so this answer is based on his experience solely. The Department of Financial Studies is a CFA-affiliated college wherein you can get a scholarship for pursuing a CFA degree. Its MBA program is highly coveted. It's the best option for you if you want to pursue a career in Finance and fail to make it to other B Schools. Here are some factors to consider
- Fees: The low fees charged by DFS is the USP of the college. You can pursue an MBA at just 26000. IIMs fees on the other end are very high Around 13–24 lakhs. So DFS offers a better ROI than IIMs.
- Curriculum: Curriculum-wise, DFS cannot be compared to IIMs that have excellent course structure at par with foreign universities. DFS follows the semester pattern, unlike the trimester pattern in IIMs. IIMs conduct case study competitions but this is not the case at DFS.
- Faculty : DFS has some very well-educated and experienced faculty members much better than at least the new IIMs.
- Placement: The placements at DFS are at par with new IIMs only and not other top IIMs.
- Alumni: The small batch size of DFS has failed to establish an elaborate alumni base in contrast to IIM Ahmedabad.
Ultimately, if you don’t want a huge loan to repay at the end of 2 years or the IIM tag, DFS is the best option
What is the scope of English Hons from DU?
If you want to do English Hons at DU, you should have a good XII grade point average. If you have a talent for it, an interest in it, and have been successful at it, please go ahead and hone your knowledge of Literature. In terms of scope, after Hons with good division, you have a lot of options.
You could try your hand at publishing and work for companies like Oxford, Tata McGraw Hill Elsevier, Sage, and others. You could work in editing or marketing and have the opportunity to meet authors and develop marketing skills for book sales. After completing Hons, you may pursue a career in journalism or mass communication. You can also pursue a Masters in Public Relations, and a plethora of opportunities will open up to you once you complete the Hons course. You can earn a master's degree in a related field and sit for the civil service exam. You can also join MNCs if you develop other skills for the relevant assignment. Remember that it is a difficult course, but it is well worth it.

What institute will be the best for GATE and IES coaching: Made Easy Delhi, ACE Academy Hyderabad, or Gate forum?
One of my friends used to be a student of ACE Academy. According to her, the ACE Academy study materials are unbeatable for the preparation of competitive examinations like GATE or IES. Their test series is also very challenging.
Before joining ACE Academy, my friend was going through a period, when he didn’t use to concentrate on his studies. Similar to a period, which almost all engineering students go through during their BE/BTech. After joining ACE Academy, he had the opportunity to clear his concept in basics. He ended the course with good command of the subjects.
Faculty:
- According to my friend, the faculties discuss every minute details of the topic. The teaching methodology employed, is designed by keeping in mind the requirement of the examination.
- The faculties have years of experience teaching classes for GATE, IES, and PSU.
Lectures:
The lectures are quite helpful in preparing notes properly. Which are more helpful for preparation as compared to books.
Join the classes as early as possible. The course is also completed early. You will have plenty of time to self-study and revise for the examination. For GATE or IES coaching, ACE Academy will be best.
How is the MBA program at Christ University Bangalore ?
Christ University doesn’t have a good faculty base for an MBA. The MBA coursework is constructed poorly. Throughout the course, students are under pressure to complete their CIA, assignments, etc. The scope for hands-on learning is limited.
It has a huge student intake. There are around 400 students in each batch. Christ University MBA placements are average at best. The 2022 placement concluded with the highest CTC of INR 20 LPA.
