How is ECE at PES University? Does it have a good faculty?
PES is a private university ranked 93rd by the NIRF ranking, 2020. It offers 25+ courses in UG, PG, and doctoral programs. 11 students received their dream offers from Microsoft. The most popular undergraduate course in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Admission:
- It offers a 4-year course and the total course fee is INR 13.6 lakh.
- Eligibility criteria: 60% aggregate in 10+2 in the Science stream(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). A total of 360 seats are present for the ECE branch.

Having friends at Sharda University, I can assure you it provides a decent atmosphere and is considered to have excellent faculty, a good quality hostel, and mess food. The points below provide a brief overview of some of these aspects of Sharda University.
- The experience of most students pursuing MBBS at Sharda University is very good in terms of the quality of faculties.
- All the professors in the university are highly qualified and cooperative. There are some instances that prove that the professors at Sharda University have actually grown a very good bond with students.
- Girls in Sharda University are accommodated in the Indira hostel.
- The rooms are quite spacious and airy. There are even choices given to students for air-conditioned rooms.

How are the hostels and faculty at IIIT Bhopal as the fresh batch has started?
As IIIT Bhopal is a newly established college so its academic building is not ready yet. The classes are conducted at many campuses. Many administration provides its professors for lectures at IIT Bhopal. The senior professors of many will be the guest faculties for it in Bhopal when required. The students of IIT Bhopal can avail themselves of every facility of many and the RGPV. The labs are held at multiple labs. The libraries of many and the RGPV are made available for IIIT Bhopal students as for the hostels.
First of all, the fee structure for the hostel is quite high and the distance of the hostel is way farther from the college campus. The hostels are pretty good even though it is beside the hostel of RGPV but the facilities of IIIT Bhopal hostel are good as compared to RGPV. The hostellers avail daily bus service from RGPV to many campuses. The lunch is made available to them at various campuses.
Overall I would say the administration of many is cooperating and is assisting in every way they can participate in academics as well as additional facilities.
How is the academic rigour at NITIE compared to IIMs? How are the faculty at NITIE?
One of my friends studied at NITIE and here are some facts that I got to know from him about the college, their academics, and faculty.
The faculties at NITIE are good, especially the professors from SCM & Operations are really good. They will engage students with their live case studies and the real problems faced by the industries.
- Mr. Som Sekhar Bhattacharya teaches strategy in NITIE and his case-based sessions are considered as best by the students.
- Finance and Marketing branches have new professors and they are average. The engagement gap between the professors and the students makes the subjects difficult and makes it hard to learn efficiently.
- HR professors have a better understanding of the topics. Their sessions are considered more interactive and explanatory when compared to Finance and Marketing.
- In this branch, Mr. Nikhil Mehta is regarded as the best professor. He is more leaned towards the practical approach and applications of the subject rather than theory.
- Ms. Vijaya Dixit is a professor of Project Management. She is also considered as one of the good faculties. Her study cases are aligned similar to what the students do in the industry.
- In Environmental Management Mr. Shirish Sangle explains the topics in such a way that even the boring parts of the subject seem relevant to the industry.

How is the teaching faculty at IMT Hyderabad & also placements?
The teaching faculty at IMT Hyderabad is excellent. The faculty members are professional and qualified. The teachers are helpful and possess a lot of experience in their field. Students approach the teachers all the time and get their doubts cleared.
Apart from IMT Hyderabad’s faculty, the institution also offers visiting faculty from tier 1 institutions. Practitioner sessions are conducted through which students are provided with industrial knowledge and exposure, making them corporate-ready.

How good is the ECE department of MNNIT Allahabad in terms of faculty, infrastructure, exposure and placements?
As a former ECE student at MNNIT Allahabad, I can say that this is one of the best departments of our college. MNNIT is one of the best choices for an ECE, among all the NITs.
Here are some details about the department-
- Faculty- As someone freshly out of school, this will come as a shock to you. Not just MNNIT, rather the faculty of all major Indian colleges is not up to the mark. But there are always some dedicated teachers among the lot, it is your job to find them and learn from them.
The ECE faculty is decent. Some teachers are really bad at teaching, but there is none who lacks knowledge. The department has some excellent researchers and administrators.
- Infrastructure- The college infrastructure is not that good, it is in fact a bit disappointing. Regardless, the labs and academic block are well laid-out. Moreover, the ECE classrooms and labs are much better in comparison.
- Exposure- The department makes every effort to provide its students with the best opportunities, but you need to take the first step and show genuine interest. The department will provide you the launchpad, but the effort has to come from your side.
- Placements- This college is at par with the top engineering colleges of India in terms of ECE placements. The placement figures have been promising throughout. This is because of a highly sincere placement cell. Moreover, ECE students are eligible for jobs in almost all categories including IT, Software, Core and Consultancy.
The ECE department of MNNIT offers better grades, fewer classes, and comparatively lenient teachers. You’ll surely face ups and downs at the department, but in the end, it will all be worth it.
Who is the best professor of IGIT, Sarang?
The answer to this question varies on the professors who are in charge of your classes. Answering this question on the basis of academics would be difficult for any person.
Pre-final year students are in charge of organizing functions like the annual and welcoming events. When my senior was in her organizing year, in some way or the other, she was part of every function that took place at the college-level. Through her involvements, she got the chance to interact with professors across a lot of branches in their official capacities. Some of the professors are:
- G.K. Pothal Sir: He became the head of the cultural department when my senior was in the institute. He was a very approachable person, which cannot be said for most professors in the college. He was always imposing and always addressed the issues of the students. He even guided the students in the literary fest Anweshan.
- S.K. Chand Sir: He always devoted his attention to helping the students. He had immense knowledge about what he taught and always apologized whenever he missed classes. He made sure to compensate for the missed classes for completion of the syllabus. He is a very disciplined member of the faculty.
- B.C. Panda Sir: He is considered a favorite among the students. He is not only very active in college but also laid back. He always tries to guide his students through his vast experience.
- S.N. Mishra Sir: Students have a love-hate relationship with him. But he is known to go out of his way to help his students.
There are a lot of noteworthy teachers in the institute. All of them work collectively towards the betterment of the students and the institute.
Which is a better college in terms of placement and faculty for CSE: KLE technical university (formerly BVBCET), Hubli or NMAM institute of technology, NITTE?
KLE Technical University provides quality education focusing on recent trends in computer science. Also in terms of faculty and placement facilities of KLE technical university is much better than the NMAM institute of technology which is an autonomous engineering college in NITEE. Many companies are offering jobs with good salary packages at KLE technical university.

- NMAM: The institute has 318 teaching staff with 120 research scholars working in various research institutes.
