This is Akshat Jain, I completed my BTech CSE course from LPU in the year 2021. I would say, LPU exams are not too difficult, however it completely depends on how you have learned throughout the semester. You must aim to score good marks and have a deep understanding of different core subjects, consistency in Studies. Follow the tips below and you can easily score more than 9 CGPA :

• Attend each and every lecture right from the beginning of the semester. Being punctual and regular to your classes will be highly beneficial.
• Listen to every lecture carefully & make precise notes. This really helps to revise before the exam. 
• Revise everything once whatever you have learned on the same day.
• Study from important and prescribed textbooks. Reading from a book helps you to understand the concepts much better.
• Don't waste your time. If you have time left even after studying everything, try to revise the topics you have doubts in.

Yes, you can get direct admission at LPU with just 10+2 marks. But you will have to keep in mind that only if you have 90% above in your 10+2, then you will get a full scholarship. The LPU NEST examination is for scholarship benefit only. The students who pass the LPU NEST get an extra 5000 scholarship per semester. The LPU NEST examination is a good chance at getting a scholarship for people who do not have 90% above in their 10+2. However, I would recommend you to sit for the LPU NEST examination as well even if you get 90% above in 10+2. If you pass the examination then you will get extra Rs 5000. LPUNEST or LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test is the university-level entrance exam conducted by the LPU to select students for its various courses. I found the exam to be moderately difficult. Its difficulty is not considered to be very tough but, some students may find it difficult based on their preparation and knowledge.

It is a computer-based exam consisting of questions from physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology and English. Each section has 25 questions with no negative marking. Candidates are given 150 minutes to attempt the MCQs and fill in the blank questions. Questions are based on the previous qualification so my advice will be to have a thorough understanding of the concepts.
