West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct OMR-based Common Entrance Test JEPBN-2025 and counselling for admission into Post Basic BSc Nursing course in various Colleges/ Institutes in the State of West Bengal for the academic session 2025-26.

The JEPBN 2025 exam will be held offline on October 19, 2025. The application forms will be available at @wbjeeb.nic.in/jepbn from September 11 to 20, 2025. JEPBN 2025: All You Need to Know

The WBJEPBN (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam for Post Basic Nursing) is the entrance test for admission to the Post Basic Nursing course in West Bengal. It is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board (WBJEEB), and the scores are accepted by nursing colleges offering this course. The JEPBN 2025 exam will be held offline and will last 90 minutes.

Candidates can make corrections to their applications after registration closes. The admit card for JEPBN 2025 is expected to be released about 10 days before the exam. After the exam, a provisional answer sheet will be published within a week, allowing candidates to raise objections if needed. The final answer sheet and results will then be released online on the official website. The admission process will conclude with JEPBN 2025 counselling, where seats in top nursing colleges across West Bengal will be allocated.

Who Can Apply for JEPBN 2025?

The JEPBN 2025 process is completely online, and a correction window will be available after registration. Candidates must fill in personal, academic, and employment details, upload a photo and signature, and pay the application fee (last year it was INR 3,000).

WBJEPBN 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board and completed a GNM course with registration/RNRM certificate from any State Nursing Council in India.
• The upper age limit for West Bengal State Government employees is 53 years (as of the last date of application). There is no upper age limit for ESI/Central Government employees.
• West Bengal State Government employees must have at least 3 years of uninterrupted, regularised service by the last date of application.
• Candidates must be Indian citizens.

JEPBN 2025 Admit Card

The JEPBN 2025 admit card will be released online around October 13, 2025. Only registered candidates can download it using their application number and password. The admit card is compulsory for entry to the exam hall and will carry details like the candidate’s name, exam date, time, centre address, and exam-day instructions.

2. Select the exam name.
3. Enter application number, password, and security pin.
4. Download and print the admit card for future use.

How the JEPBN 2025 Exam Will Be Conducted?

The JEPBN 2025 exam will be held offline for 90 minutes in the morning session from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The test will have 100 multiple-choice questions, divided into two parts — Part A with 40 questions and Part B with 60 questions. Candidates must shade the correct option on the OMR sheet using an HB pencil.

Marking Scheme:

• +1 mark for every correct answer
• –0.25 mark for every wrong answer
• Multiple answers for a single question will be treated as incorrect
• No marks deducted for unanswered questions

How to Check JEPBN 2025 Result?

The JEPBN 2025 result is expected in the last week of October 2025. Results will be released online in the form of a scorecard, showing section-wise marks, overall scores, and ranks. Based on these scores, candidates will be shortlisted for counselling and admissions. WBJEEB will also publish the JEPBN 2025 merit list, including a General Merit Rank and separate lists for reserved categories.
