NEIAH Shillong Releases MD MS Admission Schedule 2025 26

The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH) Shillong has announced admissions for its MD/MS (Ayurveda) and MD (Homoeopathy) programmes for the 2025–26 academic session.

Candidates who have qualified AIAPGET 2025 can apply for Open North East seats until November 25, 2025. As per the institute’s schedule, the first merit list will be released on November 28, 2025, followed by counselling in early December for the available seats.

How Many Seats are Available for NEIAH PG Admissions?

NEIAH will admit students to MD/MS (Ayurveda) and MD (Homoeopathy) across 11 PG seats for 2025–26. Out of these, five seats (Ayurveda) and one seat (Homoeopathy) fall under the All India Quota, while the remaining seats are reserved for the Open North East category (NEIAH graduates + NE PRC holders). All selections will be based on AIAPGET 2025 merit.

Who is Eligible to Apply for Open North East Seats?

Candidates applying under the Open North East category must meet specific eligibility rules set by NEIAH. They must be Indian nationals and should have qualified for AIAPGET 2025. In addition, applicants must either hold a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) from any of the North Eastern states or be a NEIAH BAMS/BHMS graduate, as per the category division.

They are also required to have a valid registration certificate issued by NCISM, NCH, or the respective state council. Furthermore, candidates who are already pursuing or have previously taken admission in any MD/MS (Ayurveda) or MD (Homoeopathy) programme will not be considered for admission.

How Can Candidates Apply?

Applicants must download the offline application form from the NEIAH website and submit the filled form with supporting documents via email at neiahadmission@gmail.com. The application fee is ₹1,000, payable through RTGS/NEFT only. All forms must reach the institute by November 25, 2025, 5 PM. Incomplete forms or late submissions will not be considered.
