WBJEE JELET Counselling 2024 Registration Started, Check Direct Link

WBJEEB has released a notification regarding the JELET Round 1 counselling registration on October 2, 2024. As per the notification, the counselling registration has been started today, October 3, 2024. The last date of registration will be October 6, 2024, so candidates must register within the specified time. They can register for JELET counselling through the official website i.e. wbjeeb.nic.in. The counselling will be conducted in two rounds i.e. Round 1 and Round 2. The first round is for seat allotment and the second round is for upgradation. The counselling process includes four rounds such as registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and payment of seat confirmation fees.

Eligibility for WBJEE JELET 2024 Counselling Registration

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have secured a General Merit Rank (GMR) in JELET-2024 are eligible to register for counselling.

How to Register for WBJEE JELET 2024 Counselling

For JELET counselling registration, candidates can follow the steps given below.

• First candidates need to visit the official website i.e. wbjeeb.nic.in.
• Click on WBJEE JELET Counselling 2024 registration link available on the home page.
• A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the registration details.
• Once done, login to the account.
• Fill the application form and make the payment of application fee.
• Click on submit and download the page.
• Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

WBJEE JELET 2024 Counselling Registration Fee

A registration fee of ₹500 is required for counselling, which is non-refundable under any circumstances. Candidates have to pay the fee online using debit card, credit card or net banking.

Documents Required for WBJEE JELET 2024 Counselling

Aspirants need to carry the below-mentioned documents in original form along with their self-attested copies:

• Provisional Seat Allotment Letter
• JELET Rank Card
• Class 10 Admit Card/Birth Certificate for date of birth verification
• Mark sheets of all Diploma/B.Sc. semesters (if available)
• Unique Allotment ID (available in candidate’s login)
• Domicile certificate
• Category certificate

WBJEE JELET 2024 Counselling Process

After the counselling registration candidates need to go through the following stages.

Choice Filling

After successful registration, candidates must fill out their choices of courses and institutions based on their preferences. It is advised to select at least 20 choices of their preferred courses and colleges. After finalise the choices they must lock their choices.

Seat Allotment Process

The seat allotment is conducted for participating institutes based on the candidate's rank, preferences, and availability of seats in the desired courses. Candidates can accept their seat allotted in the first round or can go for the second round for upgradation.

Document Verification

Once a candidate accepts their allotted seat, they must undergo document verification. This step is crucial for finalizing the admission process.

Fee Payment

After successful document verification, candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm their seats. The admission fees vary according to the courses and colleges.

Reporting to the Allotted College

After the seat allotment candidates need to report to the allotted college with the required documents. Documents will be verified by the college authority. They also have to pay admission fffees to confirm their seat. They need to report withing October 13 to 15, 2024 otherwise their seat will be cancelled if they delay the reporting.
