WBMCC has released the WB NEET UG 2026 Round 1 counselling schedule at wbmcc.nic.in. Registration and choice filling run from August 13 to August 16 2026. The counselling fee is Rs 2000 for 7200 MBBS and BDS state quota seats.

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has issued the Round 1 counselling schedule. The notice covers West Bengal NEET UG 2026 admissions at wbmcc.nic.in. Round 1 registration will run from August 13 to August 16, 2026.

The counselling fills 85% state quota MBBS and BDS seats. It covers government and private medical and dental colleges. A total of 7,200 seats are on offer this year.

Seats Covered Under WBMCC Counselling 2026

The counselling covers multiple seat categories across West Bengal. These include state quota seats in government medical and dental colleges. It also covers management quota and NRI seats in private colleges.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Why This Matters

Round 1 is the largest allotment window in the WBMCC cycle. A locked Round 1 choice can secure an early seat. Missing this window narrows options in later counselling rounds.
