According to the official process, candidates need to follow a few simple steps to access their result: visit the website, select the JELET 2025 link, enter the application number and date of birth, and then download their rank card. The rank card will contain candidate details, the total marks obtained in the exam and the overall rank achieved. It is important to keep this document safe as it will be needed for the subsequent counselling process.
The rank card will also show category-wise ranks (for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD, etc), and candidates will be slotted for counselling on the basis of their general merit rank (GMR) or relevant category merit rank. Tie-breaking criteria apply in case two or more candidates obtain the same marks. Preferential consideration is given to candidates with fewer negative marks, higher combined positive marks in certain technical subjects (such as Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, etc.), and, if needed, older age.
The board is expected to publish details of the counselling schedule, seat matrix, instructions for registration, choice filling, and document verification soon on the official portal.
Those who secure ranks within the required cut-offs will have to complete registration, pay any required fees, and appear for verification at the allotted institute. Failing to report on time may lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.
