TISS Guwahati to Conduct Spot Admissions for BA Social Sciences on October 6; Check Details Here

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Guwahati is set to hold a spot admission drive on October 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for vacant seats in its four-year BA in Social Sciences (BASS) program.

Eligible candidates from any stream who have completed their 12th standard (or equivalent) may participate online via Zoom, provided they bring all original educational documents. This drive is open to all qualifying applicants who wish to secure admission immediately.

TISS Guwahati Spot Admission’s Eligibility Criteria

According to the TISS Guwahati, applicants must have cleared Class 12 (HSC) or its equivalent from a recognized board, irrespective of their academic stream. Candidates who are still awaiting their Class 12 results may also be considered, subject to the institute’s discretion.

During the Zoom session, participants will be required to present their original educational documents and certificates for verification. Officials confirmed that eligible candidates will be granted admission on the spot, depending on the availability of seats.

Post the spot admission process, selected students will be notified and asked to complete the remaining formalities, including fee payment and submission of necessary documents. Authorities have also advised applicants to log in on time and keep both original and scanned copies of all certificates ready.
