Thiagarajar College PG Admission 2026 Begins; Apply by May 16

Thiagarajar College, an autonomous institution affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University and ranked 20th by NIRF 2025, has opened online applications for postgraduate admission 2026-2027.

Eligible candidates must register and submit their applications through the official portal at tcarts.in before the deadline of May 16, 2026. The college offers 16 postgraduate programmes across science, arts, and commerce streams with both aided and self-financed options.

Applicants should use their own email ID for registration and will receive a user ID and password for completing the application process.

Thiagarajar College offers diverse postgraduate programmes including M.A. Tamil, M.A. English, M.A. Economics, M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Botany, M.Sc. Zoology, M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Psychology, M.Com. (CMA Integrated), and an MBA across two sections.

Each programme has specific eligibility criteria based on the candidate's undergraduate qualification and subjects studied.

Admission will be based on prescribed eligibility criteria, and applicants must clearly specify the subjects taken in their qualifying examination. The college ensures merit-based admissions without any capitation fee or donation requirements.

• Pay the application fee through UPI or debit/credit card to finalize your registration, and keep the application number for future reference.

Thiagarajar College PG Admission 2026 Documents Required and Admission Process

Applicants must submit original certificates at the time of admission, including first five semester mark statements of undergraduate degree for PG programmes.

Transfer Certificate and relevant certificates for special quota applicants, Conduct Certificate from the previous institution, and Community Certificate for SC/ST/BC/MBC students are mandatory.

The Thiagarajar College reserves the right to cancel admission if material discrepancies are found between certificates and application entries.

Provisional Selection Letters will be sent to candidates' registered email IDs, and dates specified in the notification must be strictly adhered to.
