DME Tamil Nadu has announced the Online Counseling schedule for B.Pharma Lateral Entry. The registration and choice filling process will start from November 12, 2024, 10 AM onwards.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Chennai, has released the tentative online counseling schedule for the B.Pharm Lateral Entry course for the 2024-25 academic session. This online counseling process, overseen by the Selection Committee in Kilpauk, is aimed at admitting eligible candidates based on merit and reservation rules.The registration and choice filling process will start from November 12, 2024, 10 AM onwards.

Key Guidelines for Candidates

  1. Processing Fee: Candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹250 through online payment methods, including debit/credit cards or net banking.
  2. Choice Locking: Once a candidate locks their preferred branch and college, the choice is final. No modifications are allowed after submission.
  3. Seat Matrix Availability: The seat matrix for the B.Pharm Lateral Entry course will be available on the official website, offering insight into the options open to candidates.

Important Restrictions and Conditions

  1. Eligibility for Subsequent Rounds: Candidates who accept a seat but do not join the course will be disqualified from future counseling rounds.
  2. Government Quota in Self-Financing Colleges: Candidates opting for a Government Quota seat in self-financing colleges when government college seats are available will not be permitted to choose government colleges in subsequent rounds.
  3. Self-Declaration Form: Selected candidates are required to submit a self-declaration form upon admission, stating that all provided information is accurate. Any misrepresentation may lead to cancellation of admission.
  4. Mandatory Reporting: Candidates must report to their allotted institutions with original certificates. Failure to do so by the November 22, 2024 will result in forfeiture of the seat.
