Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education Releases MPT Round III Counseling Schedule

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME), Chennai, has announced the third-round counselling schedule for Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) admissions for 2024-2025. This round exclusively covers self-financing colleges. Candidates with general ranks (GR) from 001 to 363 are eligible to participate.

Key Dates and Process

• Registration and Choice Filling: October 26, 2024 (1:00 PM) – October 27, 2024 (5:00 PM)
• Allotment Results: October 28, 2024
• Provisional Allotment Order Download: October 29 to October 30, 2024 (until 12:30 PM)
• Reporting Deadline: October 30, 2024 (5:00 PM)

Participants are required to complete their registration, fill out course preferences, and lock their options online. Once choices are locked, no further modifications are allowed.

Eligibility and Guidelines

Only candidates without a previously allotted seat are eligible for this phase. Fresh applicants need to pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹500 via online payment. Those who participated in earlier rounds are exempt from paying the fee again.

Admission will be done based on the rules of reservation. The candidates are expected to provide the connectivity while opting through the online process. The seats allotted in this round are final; hence, no alterations are permitted in terms of branch or college post allotment.

Reporting and Documentation

Selected candidates must report to their allotted institution with original documents, including:

• BPT degree certificate
• Mark sheets from all academic years
• CRRI completion certificate
• Community and nativity certificates, if applicable
• Date of birth proof

Failure to report by the deadline will result in automatic cancellation of admission. Candidates are advised to handle login credentials carefully and complete all necessary processes within the stipulated time.
