Odisha NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 1 Schedule Announced; Choice-Filling to Begin November 23

The Directorate of Medical Education & Training Odisha (DMET Odisha) has released the Round 1 schedule for PG-medical admissions in the state via NEET PG 2025. From November 23, eligible candidates will be able to submit and lock their choice preferences online. The provisional seat matrix listing available MD/MS seats is expected today, November 21, 2025, as a crucial reference for applicants ahead of the choice-filling window.

Odisha NEET PG counselling 2025 Round 1 Schedule Dates

Odisha has increased its PG medical capacity this year by approving 62 new seats across six government medical colleges. For NEET PG 2025 counselling, the state has clearly outlined the seat distribution, with 163 seats reserved for in-service candidates, 161 for direct candidates, and 84 under the management quota.

In total, 372 MD and MS seats will be available in the first round of admissions. These updates add more clarity to the counselling process and expand opportunities for medical graduates seeking postgraduate training in the state.

How to Participate in Odisha NEET PG 2025 Counselling

1. Visit the official DMET Odisha counselling portal and log in with your credentials.
2. Review the seat matrix once released to identify available courses and colleges.
3. Fill your choices of college and specialization between November 23 and 25, and ensure you lock your preferences before the deadline.
4. On November 27, check the allotment result through your login.
5. If allotted, download the allotment letter on November 28 and prepare for institute reporting on November 29-30.
6. Those opting for upgradation should keep track of December 1 results and report by December 2 if upgraded.
7. Ensure all required original documents are ready for verification at the institute.

• MBBS degree and marksheets
• MBBS internship completion certificate
• Registration certificate with medical council
• NEET PG 2025 score-card and rank certificate
• Domicile/residence proof as per Odisha rules
