The National Institute of Technology, Manipur, is inviting applications for PhD admission for the academic year 2026. Interested candidates must apply online by December 12, 2025, through the official website daiict.ac.in. The institute will admit candidates under regular, sponsored (full-time), self-sponsored (full-time), part-time, project staff, and external categories.

The offline written test will be conducted on December 15, 2025, and an Offline interview has been scheduled on December 16, 2025. The selected candidates' list will be released on December 17, 2025, and submission of fees by selected PhD candidates must be done on or before December 23, 2025.

The NIT Manipur accepts admission in various specializations, including Civil Engineering, CSE, Electrical Engineering, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Humanities & Social Sciences. The minimum eligibility criteria master's degree in relevant subjects with a minimum 60% of marks from a recognised university. However, GATE/ NET qualified candidates are preferred.
