UG applicants generally require a 10+2 qualification with a minimum of 45%–50% aggregate in relevant subjects, while PG applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks.

The selection process is multifaceted, primarily relying on national and state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ UPTAC for B.Tech, CUET-PG/CAT/ CMAT for MBA/MCA, and GPAT for M.Pharm, followed by centralized counselling. Direct admission under the 15% management quota is also available for eligible candidates.

• Step 1: Registration: The applicant visits the official admission portal at niet.co.in. They must fill out the registration form with their name, email address, and mobile number.
• Step 2: Account Verification After submitting the registration form, the applicant receives a verification email or an OTP (One-Time Password) on their mobile phone. They must verify this to activate their account.
• Step 3: Filling the Application Form Once logged in, the applicant selects their desired course (UG or PG) and provides personal, academic, and contact details as required by the institute.
• Step 4: Uploading Documents The applicant uploads scanned copies of necessary documents, such as their 10th and 12th mark sheets, a passport-size photograph, and their Aadhar card.
• Step 5: Payment of Application Fee The applicant pays the non-refundable application fee of ₹1,000 through the online payment gateway using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
• Step 6: Submission After verifying all the entered information, the applicant submits the form and downloads a copy of the completed application for future reference.
