Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has extended the admission 2026-27 application deadline for UG and PG courses. Candidates can apply till May 22 without late fee or May 29 with INR 1,000 late fee.

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Ludhiana has extended the application deadline for both undergraduate and postgraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. You can now apply without late fee until May 22, 2026, or with a late fee of INR 1,000 until May 29, 2026. The university offers various UG programs like B.Sc. Agriculture, Horticulture, Biotechnology, and Food Technology, along with PG programs in agriculture and related fields.
The entrance exam dates have also been rescheduled to accommodate more candidates. DAT (Design Aptitude Test) for design programs is now scheduled for June 7, 2026. AAT (Agriculture Aptitude Test) for agriculture programs is on June 28, 2026. AAT counselling will be held on July 8, 2026. Undergraduate Programs Available
PAU offers B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Horticulture, B.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Food Technology, B.Sc. Home Science, and B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering programs. Each program has specific eligibility criteria and entrance exam requirements. B.Sc. programs typically require Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. B.Tech. programs require JEE Main scores. Admissions are merit-based through entrance tests conducted by PAU.
Postgraduate Programs Available
PAU offers M.Sc. programs in various agricultural disciplines including Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Soil Science, and Agricultural Economics. M.Tech. programs in Agricultural Engineering are also available. PG admissions require a relevant bachelor's degree and GATE scores for M.Tech. programs. How to Apply?
Visit pau-apms.in on your browser. Register with your email and mobile number. Fill in your personal and educational details. Upload your Class 10 and 12 mark sheets. Select your preferred programs. Pay the application fee online. Submit your application before May 22 (without late fee) or May 29, 2026 (with INR 1,000 late fee).
Eligibility Criteria
For UG programs, you must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics from a recognized board. Minimum 50% marks in aggregate is required for general category. SC/ST candidates need 45% marks. For PG programs, you must have a relevant bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks. GATE scores are required for M.Tech. admissions.
Entrance Exam Details
DAT (Design Aptitude Test) for design programs is on June 7, 2026. AAT (Agriculture Aptitude Test) for agriculture programs is on June 28, 2026. Both tests are objective-type with multiple-choice questions. Admit cards will be available on the official portal 7 days before the exam. AAT counselling will be held on July 8, 2026, for merit-based seat allocation.
