The rechecking facility is provided for candidates who want to verify possible calculation or totalling errors in their NID DAT 2026 Prelims score. It is important to note that this process does not involve re-evaluation of subjective answers.

The rechecking is limited to confirming whether all answers have been marked correctly and whether there has been any mistake in totalling the marks.

Candidates who clear the Prelims stage will now move to the DAT Mains examination, which is expected to be conducted in March 2026. Shortlisted applicants must start preparing for the next phase, which includes a studio test and personal interview.

To perform well in Mains, students should focus on strengthening their design thinking skills, sketching ability, presentation techniques, and portfolio development, as the exam mainly tests creative and analytical design skills.

Candidates are advised to check the official website and collegedunia.com for the latest updates.
