MCC NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Choice Filling Opens; Check Last Date to Lock Choices

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has commenced the NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 counselling process for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% Deemed Universities, Central Universities and AFMS seats. Candidates can participate through the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.

The registration facility is available from September 15 to September 19, 2026, while the choice filling window will remain open from September 16 to September 21, 2026.

Candidates can select their preferred MDS colleges and courses and arrange them according to their preferences. The choice filling facility will close at 10:00 AM on September 21, 2026, as per server time.

NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Registration and Payment Deadline

Candidates can complete their Round 2 registration until 3:00 PM on September 19, 2026. The payment facility will remain available until 6:00 PM on the same day.

All registration and payment activities must be completed within the specified deadline and according to MCC server time.

NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Registration Fee

The registration fee is non-refundable, while the security deposit is refundable, subject to the counselling rules and conditions.

How to Fill Choices for NEET MDS 2026 Round 2?

Candidates can fill and lock their choices by following these steps:

1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
2. Open the NEET MDS Counselling 2026 section.
3. Log in using the registered application number and password.
4. Select the preferred MDS colleges and courses.
5. Arrange the choices according to preference.
6. Save and review the selected choices carefully.
7. Lock the final choices between 6:00 PM on September 20 and 10:00 AM on September 21, 2026.
8. Download and save the choice locking confirmation page.

Candidates must complete the choice-locking process before the deadline. Choices that remain unlocked may be auto-locked at 10:00 AM on September 21, 2026. No changes will be permitted after the choice-locking deadline.

NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment and Reporting

MCC will process the seat allotment from September 21 to September 22, 2026, and announce the Round 2 seat allotment result on September 23, 2026.

Candidates who receive a seat must report to their allotted institute between September 24 and September 30, 2026. The participating institutes will verify the joined candidates’ details and share the required data with MCC on October 1, 2026.

1. Complete Round 2 registration on mcc.nic.in before 3:00 PM on September 19.
2. Pay the registration fee and security deposit before 6:00 PM on September 19.
3. Shortlist eligible colleges and courses as per your rank.
4. Fill choices in order of true preference on the portal.
5. Lock the choices before 10:00 AM on September 21, 2026.
6. Check the seat allotment result on September 23.
7. Report to the allotted institute between September 24 and September 30.
