NTA has released NEET UG 2026 admit cards on neet.nta.nic.in. The exam is scheduled for May 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in offline mode.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2026 admit cards on April 26, 2026, on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Registered candidates can now download their hall tickets using their application number and date of birth. The admit card is a mandatory document for appearing for the examination.

The NEET UG 2026 examination will be conducted on May 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in offline (pen-and-paper) mode. Earlier, the NTA had released NEET UG 2026 City Intimation Slip on April 12. NTA said on X (formerly Twitter), “City Intimation Slips have already been released — 99.2% of candidates have been allotted their first-choice city, ensuring convenience and minimal travel stress.”

How to Download NEET UG 2026 Admit Card?
- Candidates must visit the official NTA website at neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the "NEET UG Admit Card 2026" link to download their hall tickets.
- Enter the application number and date of birth to access the admit card.
Candidates who have forgotten their NEET password can click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it via an OTP sent to their registered mobile number or email ID, or by answering their security question.

After downloading, candidates should take a colored printout of the admit card and affix a postcard-size photograph (4 inches by 6 inches) in the designated space, ensuring the photograph matches the one uploaded during application. It is crucial to verify all details on the admit card, including name, roll number, exam center address, and reporting time, before the examination day.

NEET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must carry the printed NEET UG 2026 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport, or driving license. A postcard-size colored photograph (4" X 6") with white background, same as affixed on the admit card, should also be brought to the examination center as backup. Candidates are advised not to sign on the admit card and to keep it safe until the completion of the admission process.

Regarding dress code, candidates are required to wear simple, light clothing with half sleeves such as light trousers or salwar and slippers or low-heeled sandals to facilitate security checks. Heavy jewelry, watches, bracelets, caps, and shoes with thick soles are strictly prohibited.
- Candidates are permitted to carry only a transparent water bottle and medical items such as sugar tablets or fruits for diabetic candidates.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, digital watches, wallets, handbags, study materials, notes, and any electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
- Carrying any unauthorized material or restricted items may be treated as use of unfair means and can lead to cancellation of candidature. Candidates must undergo mandatory frisking and security checks before entering the exam center.

Candidates must reach the examination center at least two hours before the exam start time to complete security procedures and biometric verification.
- The final entry to the exam hall is at 1:30 PM, and no candidate will be allowed to enter after this time under any circumstances.
- Candidates will be seated in the exam room by 1:15 PM, followed by instructions and admit card verification from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM.
- The question paper will be distributed at 1:45 PM, and candidates must fill details on the test booklet by 1:50 PM.
- The examination will begin promptly at 2:00 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM.
With approximately one week remaining before the examination, candidates should focus on final revision and familiarize themselves with the exam center location. After the examination, NTA will release the answer key, followed by the declaration of results. Successful candidates will then proceed to the counselling process for seat allocation in medical colleges across India.
