New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is scheduled to release the NEET SS 2023 result cum merit list on September 30, 2023, through its official website @nbe.edu.in. Applicants will have access to their individual NEET SS 2023 scorecards at the NEET-SS website, nbe.edu.in.

The NBE has announced that the NEET SS Exam 2023 will take place on September 9 and 10. Candidates appearing for the NEET SS exam can check their NEET SS result 2023 for 32 super specialties on September 30, 2023. The NEET SS 2023 result PDF will reveal the candidate's roll number, total score (out of 400), and merit rank.

To be eligible for the entrance exam, candidates must attain the NEET SS cutoff percentile. Those who qualify will participate in the NEET SS counseling 2023, organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

NEET SS 2023 scores will determine the allocation of 2,447 seats for Doctors of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Surgery (MCh) in 156 government and private medical colleges, universities, deemed universities, and Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) institutions.

How to Check NEET SS 2023 Result?

To access their NEET SS results, candidates should follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official NBE website @nbe.edu.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, search and click on the link for NEET SS result 2023.

Step 3: The NEET SS results for 32 super specialties will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Use Ctrl+F to search for your result.

Step 5: Verify your NEET SS rank, roll number, score (out of 400), and marks (out of 400).

Step 6: Download the result for future reference

Validity of NEET SS Results 2023

Candidates seeking admission to NEET SS 2023 should be aware that the declared results are only valid for the current admission session, specifically the 2023-24 session for DM and M.Ch. courses.

The NEET SS results for 2023 cannot be carried over to the next session of admissions for DM/MCh and DNB Super Specialty courses. Aspirants are required to comply with the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000 issued by the Medical Council of India, approved by the Central Government, and the Judgments of the Supreme Court of India in order to register for NEET SS 2023 admissions for DM/M.Ch courses.

NEET SS 2023 Merit List

There'll be separate merit lists for each super specialty course, based on the candidates' marks in the entrance examination for NEET SS 2023. To qualify for admission to various super specialty courses, applicants must secure at least the 50th percentile in the exam.

NEET SS Results 2023: Tie-breaking method

In the event of a tie, where two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the NEET SS2023 exam, the authority will follow a tie-breaking method, as outlined below.

Tie-Breaker I	Candidates with a lesser number of negative responses in the overall paper will be given a higher merit position.
Tie-Breaker II	If the tie persists, candidates with a higher score in Part B of the question paper will be given preference.
Tie-Breaker III	If the tie still continues, aspirants with a lesser number of negative attempts in Part B of the NEET SS question paper 2023 will be considered.
Tie-Breaker IV	As a final tie-breaker, candidates with older age will be placed at higher merit positions.

After the NEET SS 2023 results are announced, qualified candidates will be required to participate in the NEET SS 2023 counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

To take part in the NEET counselling process, aspirants must register and upload the necessary documents. The acceptance into DM/MCh super specialty courses will be finalized only after completing the NEET SS process and making the required fee payment.
