NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round Eligibility Criteria

Students can check below the eligibility criteria for NEET PG Stray Vacancy round counselling 2024.

  • Eligible Candidates

    • Candidates who are not holding any seat in either the All India Quota (AIQ) or State Quota are eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round conducted by MCC.

  • Ineligible Candidates

    • Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round-3 of MCC counselling but did not join are not eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round.

    • Candidates who have joined State Quota seats in earlier rounds of counselling are not eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round conducted by MCC.

  • Eligibility for State Counselling

    • Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round-3 of MCC counselling but did not report (i.e., "Not Reported" candidates) are eligible to participate in State Counselling.

    • Candidates who were allotted a seat in State Quota but did not join or report are eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round.

  • Penalty for Non-Joining

    • Candidates who fail to join their allotted seat in the Stray Vacancy Round will have their security deposit forfeited.

    • Such candidates will also be debarred from appearing in the NEET exam for the next year.

  • Data Sharing with State Authorities

    • The MCC will share the data of candidates who joined their seats in Round-3 with State Counselling Authorities. These candidates will be debarred from taking admission in State Quota counselling.
