MITID Admission Schedule 2026 Revised; DAT on April 12, Studio Test from April 24

The MIT Institute of Design (MITID), Pune, has revised the admission schedule for its undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes for the academic year 2026–27. As per the official update, the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will now be conducted on April 12, 2026, bringing a shift in the subsequent stages of the selection process.

The institute has also issued a detailed timeline covering DAT results, Studio Test and Personal Interview rounds, and final merit list announcements for both B.Des and M.Des programmes.

The application window for MITID Admission 2026 was open from October 17, 2025, to March 15, 2026. With the entrance test now scheduled for April 12, candidates can expect the DAT results to be declared on April 23, 2026, after 5 PM.

Based on DAT performance, shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Studio Test and Personal Interview, an essential stage that evaluates creative thinking, design sensitivity, and problem-solving ability.
