MICA to organise careers fair for scholars, academicians

New Delhi: Mudra Institute of Communication Ahmedabad (MICA) will organize a career fair for doctoral students and young academicians at the 10th International Communication Management Conference (ICMC).

The conference will be held for three days. MICA has asked the interested scholars to send their resumes and research interests. The theme of the conference is ‘Immersive Technology and Experiences’. The motive of the conference is to bring research scholars and industry experts to discuss and delve into how virtual reality and artificial intelligence are used across the spectrums of human activity.

Dean of MICA Faculty, Githa Heggde said, “MICA is privileged to host a first-of-its-kind career fair for doctoral students and scholars is common in the USA and Europe”. Top colleges such as IRMA, Nirma University, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, MICA, IMT Ghaziabad, Flame University, KIIT University, and BML Munjal University will participate in the career fair.

It is a relatively new concept for India. Through this fair, the aim is to give our conference scholars and leading institutes an opportunity to meet and create learning paths for each other,” Patra added.

Presenter at ICMC 2024, Kousik Mandal, said “AR ICMC 2024, the career fair is a dynamic platform for young researchers to connect aspiring professionals with academic leaders. As a participant in this conference, I am thrilled to engage with top-tier institutions around India, gaining insights and networking opportunities”.
