CET Cell Maharashtra has successfully conducted the MHT CET 2024 PCM exam from May 2 to 17, 2024. The results will be released in June 2024.

New Delhi: The Maharashtra CET Cell successfully conducted the MHT CET PCM Exam 2024 on May 17, 2024. The exam was conducted in two shifts: the first shift was from 9 am to 12 pm, while the second shift was from 2 pm to 5 pm.
MHT CET 2024 was conducted for admission to engineering courses on May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17, 2024. The MHT CET Result 2024 will tentatively be released in June 2024.
According to students' feedback, the question papers of the exams conducted so far were moderate on most exam dates. For some students, the paper was difficult like JEE Main. Check the detailed question paper analysis of the May 16, 2024 question paper below!
MHT CET 2024 May 16 Shift 1 Paper Analysis
As per student’s reactions, the paper was moderately difficult. The physics paper was moderate, whereas about 25 questions were simple. Students had queries on resistors, rotational dynamics, tolerance, and capacitors.
The chemistry paper was also comparatively easy, as the questions were directly from the NCERT book. Some common topics from which questions were framed are coordination compounds, redox reactions, EAN, oxidation numbers, and IUPAC nomenclature. Mathematics has about 15 difficult and lengthy questions, but the paper was easier than Physics and Chemistry.

MHT CET 2024 May 16 Shift 2 Paper Analysis
As per the students' reaction, the physics paper in shift 2 was based on formulae and mostly application-based questions. The paper was moderately difficult, and the questions were mostly from Wave Optics, Laws of Motion, Current Electricity and Magnetism, and electrostatics.
The chemistry paper was easy to moderately difficult. Often, questions were directly from the Maharashtra HSC textbook and topics were BCC Radius, Dissociation Constant, and Adiabatic Process. The mathematics paper was the most difficult part, with lengthy questions from Integration, Calculus, and 3D Geometry.
