Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) commenced MET Phase 2 slot booking on May 9, 2026. Registered candidates can now book their preferred exam slots through the Online Test Booking System (OTBS). The slot booking window remains open until May 11, 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates must complete the slot booking process to be eligible for appearing in the MET 2026 Phase 2 examination scheduled for May 23 and 24.
How to Book MET 2026 Phase 2 Exam Slots?
Candidates can access the MET OTBS facility by visiting cdn.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/32833/98207/login.html. Log in using your MAHE application number and OTBS password (date of birth in DDMMYYYY format). After logging in for the first time, candidates must change their password according to official guidelines. Select your preferred exam slot from available options and submit your choice immediately.
Important: Slot booking is done on a first-come-first-serve basis, so candidates should complete the process quickly. Once submitted, exam slots cannot be changed under any circumstances. If preferred slots are unavailable, candidates should select their next preference to ensure they secure a slot.

MET OTBS Login Details and Password Guidelines
Candidates will need their MAHE application number and OTBS password to log in. The initial OTBS password is the candidate's date of birth in DDMMYYYY format. After first login, candidates must create a new password meeting specific criteria. New password must be 8-9 characters long with minimum one numeric character, one uppercase letter, and one special character (excluding <> & % " and ').
What to Verify Before Booking Slots?
Before booking exam slots, candidates should verify their test city preference submitted during registration. Exam centres are allotted according to preferences submitted in the application form. Candidates should carefully review their selected preferences as they cannot be changed after slot booking. Check that your application details are correct and match your registration information.

MET Phase 2 Exam Pattern and Duration
MET 2026 is a computer-based test lasting 2 hours (120 minutes) with no extra time provided. The exam comprises 60 questions including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Mathematics section has 15 MCQs and 5 NAT questions. Physics section has 10 MCQs and 5 NAT questions. Chemistry section has 10 MCQs and 5 NAT questions. English section has 10 MCQs. Total marks: 240.
Marking Scheme and Scoring
For Multiple Choice Questions, 4 marks are awarded for correct answers and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers. For Numerical Answer Type questions, 4 marks are awarded for correct answers with no negative marking. Understanding the marking scheme helps candidates strategize their exam approach and manage time effectively during the test.
MET Phase 2 Admit Card Details
MAHE will release MET 2026 Phase 2 admit card on May 20, 2026. Candidates can download their admit card by logging into the OTBS portal using their hall ticket number and date of birth (DDMMYYYY). The admit card displays candidate's name, application number, group, course applied for, category, exam date, timings, and allotted centre address. Candidates must bring their admit card and one valid photo ID proof to the examination centre.
Exam Centre Information and Allotment
MET 2026 exam is expected to be held in over 81 cities across India. Exam centres are allotted according to preferences submitted during registration. Candidates cannot change their allotted exam centre after slot booking. Reporting time for Slot 1 is 8:00 AM and for Slot 2 is 1:00 PM. Main gates close at 9:00 AM for Slot 1 and 2:30 PM for Slot 2.
What If Preferred Slots Are Not Available?
If candidates cannot find their preferred exam slot during the booking process, they should select their next preference immediately. Since slot availability changes every second due to high demand, candidates are advised to be quick in completing their booking. Waiting for preferred slots to become available may result in missing the booking window entirely.
Preparation Tips for MET 2026 Phase 2
Candidates should practice using official MET mock tests available on manipal.edu to familiarize themselves with the CBT interface. Focus on high-weightage topics in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. Solve previous years' question papers and sample papers regularly. Maintain a consistent study schedule and revise important concepts regularly. Practice time management to complete 60 questions within 120 minutes.
