IIIT Delhi 2026-27 Fee Structure Out; Check B.Tech Tuition and Payment Schedule

The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi) has released the Tuition Fee Schedule for the Monsoon Semester 2026-27. The official notification is hosted on the institute portal at iiitd.ac.in. The schedule covers the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Technology (M.Tech), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes.

The fee schedule sets the per-semester tuition that incoming and continuing students must pay. It also lists one-time charges, refundable deposits, and recurring services such as the hostel and mess. Candidates joining the 2026-27 batch must clear the first instalment before the academic session begins.

IIIT Delhi 2026-27 Fee Components

The total cost at IIIT Delhi includes tuition fees, a one-time admission fee, a refundable security deposit, and an annual student welfare charge. Hostel and mess fees are charged separately for residential students. The full fee structure is available on the official fees page.

The B.Tech tuition fee is payable in two equal semester instalments. The first instalment is due before the Monsoon Semester, while the second instalment must be paid before the Winter Semester. Late payment attracts a fine as per institute rules.

Residential students at IIIT Delhi must pay separate hostel and mess charges. The hostel fee depends on the room type.

Scholarships and Fee Waivers

IIIT Delhi offers need-based tuition fee waivers for B.Tech students.

• 100% tuition fee waiver for students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.
• 50% tuition fee waiver for students with annual family income up to Rs 6 lakh and last school fee below Rs 25,000 per year.
• 25% tuition fee waiver for students with annual family income between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 8 lakh.

These waivers apply only to the tuition fee. Hostel, mess, and other service charges are not covered. Students must apply after admission by submitting the required income documents.

How to Pay the IIIT Delhi 2026-27 Fee?

The institute accepts fee payments through its online payment portal. Students can pay using the bank challan or online payment gateway available on the official fees page. Accepted payment methods include Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, and UPI.

1. Visit the official IIIT Delhi fee portal.
2. Log in using your enrolment ID and password.
3. Open the Fee Payment section and select the relevant semester.
4. Choose the preferred payment mode and complete the transaction.
5. Download and save the payment receipt for future reference.
