The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has released the revised schedule for NEET PG 2025 CAP Round 2 and the tentative schedule for CAP Round 3 after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) revised the State Quota counselling timeline on December 7, 2025.

As per the official update, CAP Round 1 counselling was completed on December 12, 2025, and all remaining counselling rounds will now be conducted as per the revised dates.

Maharashtra NEET PG 2025: CAP Round 2 Schedule

For CAP Round 2, candidates were given a free exit and cancellation option without forfeiture of security deposit until December 21, 2025 (5:30 PM), the seat matrix was published on December 22, 2025, online choice filling was held from December 22 to December 24, 2025 (11:59 PM), the selection list was declared on December 26, 2025, and physical joining at the allotted college with original documents and fees is scheduled from December 27 to December 30, 2025 (5:30 PM), while the academic session commenced on December 22, 2025.

Maharashtra NEET PG 2025: CAP Round 3 Schedule Tentative

For the tentative CAP Round 3, the process begins on January 3, 2026, which is the final deadline to cancel a CAP Round 2 seat at 5:30 PM. Doing so avoids a penalty but results in the forfeiture of your CAP fees and security deposit. From January 4 to January 6, 2026, you can complete online registration, pay the non-refundable ₹3,000 fee and security deposit, and upload your documents.

On January 7, 2026, the authorities will publish the general list of candidates, the merit list, and the seat matrix. You can then fill in your college choices online between January 8 and January 10, 2026.

The selection list for Round 3 will be released on January 12, 2026, followed by the physical joining period at your allotted college from January 13 to January 17, 2026. Finally, January 20, 2026, at 5:30 PM is the last day to cancel your admission without a penalty, though your security deposit will still be forfeited.
