KEAM Spot Admission 2023 To Begin for BTech

New Delhi: The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala will begin the KEAM 2023 spot admission process for engineering and architecture programs (BTech and BArch) on September 10, 2023. 

A circular and instructions have been released in this regard by the CEE Kerala. Students may see the official notification on the CEE's official website i.e., cee.kerala.gov.in.

The spot round registration for KEAM 2023 will commence on September 10, 2023, between 8 AM and 12 Noon, followed by the admission process starting at 1 PM on the same day.

GEC Thrissur will host the 2023–24 spot admission for BTech and BArch programs on September 10, 2023 at government and aided Engineering Colleges. Students can register from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m.,” the notification states.

Tuition fees must be paid by the students who have been admitted to engineering and architecture programs in earlier rounds of KEAM Counselling 2023 and by those who choose spot allotment.

Candidates must provide both original and photocopies of all necessary documents when reporting for the on-the-spot admission round.

KEAM 2023 Spot Admission: Documents Required

Candidates admitted through the rank list are required to present only their admission slip. Newly admitted candidates, on the other hand, must furnish the following documents:

  • Class 12th Mark sheet
  • SSLC or Class 10th certificate
  • Original birth certificate (SSLC, birth certificate, or valid Indian passport) required as proof of date of birth
  • Original proof of nativity (SSLC, birth certificate, valid Indian passport, or other acceptable document per the KEAM prospectus for 2023)
  • Non-creamy layer certificate (if admitted category is SEBC/OBC)
  • EWS certificate, if applicable
  • Caste or community certificate, if applicable
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Conduct certificate
  • Physical fitness certificate in the relevant format
  • Migration certificate (for boards other than HSC/VHSC)
  • Pass certificate of the qualifying examination
  • Any other eligibility certificate if the allocation falls under any other quotas
  • Receipt of fee paid to CEE
  • One set of self-attested copies of each of the following documents is required: a data sheet for KEAM 2023, a NATA Score Card (for architecture candidates only), an SSLC certificate, a birth certificate, a qualifying exam mark sheet, a qualifying exam pass certificate, an EWS certificate, or a community certificate
