The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has started the document verification process for NEET PG 2025 for candidates who are seeking admission to MD/MS courses under the Hindu Minority (HM) and Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quotas at Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS), Jammu.

Candidates named in the JK NEET PG 2025 provisional merit list can submit their documents at JKBOPEE offices in Jammu and Srinagar from November 26 to December 2, until 3 pm.

The ASCOMS college has 13 seats under the Hindu Minority quota and 5 seats under the NRI quota for MD/MS admissions, which will be filled separately through physical or online counselling at a schedule to be announced later.

Only Jammu and Kashmir domiciled candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2025 and are listed in the provisional merit list are eligible for these quota seats.

To apply under the Hindu Minority quota, candidates must submit a certificate from a competent authority.

For NRI quota seats, the JKBOPEE has defined two priority categories. Priority 1 includes NRI candidates and children of NRIs originally from Jammu and Kashmir.

Priority 2 includes first and second-degree relatives of NRIs with supporting proof of relationship and documentation.

Required documents for Priority 1 candidates include the NEET PG 2025 scorecard, NRI certificate issued by the Ministry of External Affairs or Indian Embassy, Indian passport, NRI bank account, income tax returns if applicable, PAN card if applicable, and domicile certificate.

Priority 2 candidates need to submit the NEET PG scorecard, an NRI sponsorship letter, an attested undertaking, sponsor's bank statement, relevant relationship documents such as a family tree, employment certificate of the sponsor, PAN cards, income tax returns, and the candidate's domicile certificate.

This document verification is a crucial step in the JK NEET PG 2025 counselling process, which ensures making candidates eligible for counselling and subsequent seat allotment in government and private medical colleges in Jammu and Kashmir.

The JKBOPEE will later release detailed schedules for the counselling rounds to fill these quota seats, ensuring transparency and fairness.

Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria like NEET PG qualification, domicile status, and required documentation to participate in the counselling process for these reserved seats.

Candidates are advised to keep track of official notifications from JKBOPEE for updates regarding counselling schedules and seat allotments under the HM and NRI quotas to avoid missing important deadlines.

The document verification is a prerequisite to secure these limited PG medical seats under the specified quotas at ASCOMS as part of the JK NEET PG 2025 admission process.
