INI SS January 2026 Session Counselling Schedule Out; Check Now @aiimsexams.ac.in

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released an official notice regarding the INI-SS January 2026 session counselling schedule. The notice is for admission to DM/M.Ch. courses at Institutes of National Importance (INIs). The schedule covers online institute allocation for first and second rounds.

According to AIIMS, the first round of online institute allocation choice filling will start on December 20, 2025, and will remain open until December 26, 2025, up to 5:00 PM. The first round institute allocation result will be announced on December 29, 2025.

Candidates who receive an institute allotment in the first round must accept the allotted institute online between December 30, 2025 (11:00 AM) and January 6, 2026 (5:00 PM). During the same period, candidates must also report to the allotted institute and submit documents along with the security deposit.

For the second round, AIIMS will announce the institute allocation result on January 20, 2026. Online acceptance and reporting for the second round will take place from January 21, 2026 (11:00 AM) to January 28, 2026 (5:00 PM).

INI SS January 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions mentioned in the INI-SS January 2026 Prospectus to participate in counselling.

• The candidate must have qualified INI-SS January 2026 with at least 50% of total marks.
• Only eligible and qualified candidates will be allowed to take part in the online institute allocation process.
• The eligibility criteria and validity of certificates remain the same as mentioned in the official INI-SS January 2026 prospectus.
• AIIMS will publish the list of eligible candidates before the start of the choice-filling process.
• Only candidates included in the eligible list will get access to the counselling portal.
• Institute allocation will be done strictly on the basis of merit and the choices filled by the candidates.

How to Apply for INI SS January 2026 Counselling

Eligible candidates must follow the steps given below to apply for the counselling process:

1. Visit the official website aiimsexams.ac.in.
2. Log in to the “My Page” dashboard using the same credentials used during INI-SS application submission.
3. Access the online institute allocation portal, which will be activated only for eligible candidates.
4. Select and submit choices of institutes for the applied DM/M.Ch. specialty within the given dates.
5. Carefully review the choices before final submission, as choices cannot be edited or reordered after the deadline.
6. Wait for the institute allocation result to be announced as per the schedule.
7. If allotted an institute, complete the online acceptance within the specified time.
8. Report to the allotted institute with required documents and security deposit within the given dates.
