IMT Ghaziabad to Host its 21st International Conference on Empowering Libraries, Connecting Communities

New Delhi: Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad has announced that the institute will organise its 21st International Conference titled ‘MANLIBNET 2023’ from October 05, 2023. The conference will be held for a duration of 3 days, till October 07, 2023.

As per IMT Ghaziabad, the 21st international conference will be held around the theme of 'Empowering Libraries, Connecting Communities: Innovation, Collaboration, and Entrepreneurship”. So far, more than 200 participants are expected to attend the conference.

The event will be attended by library and information science professionals, faculty and research scholars, IT professionals, IT service providers, business professionals, corporate professionals, knowledge management professionals, professional associations, and publishers from India and abroad.

IMT Ghaziabad organises MANLIBNET 2023 with the goal of fostering innovative thinking, successful teamwork, and entrepreneurship within the library community. It further aims to explore unconventional approaches for boosting academic and public libraries.

According to the institute, the conference will cover a wide range of subjects, including academic and public libraries, innovation in libraries, digital technologies and trends in libraries, and many more. It will further include plenary talks by senior library professionals.

Participants will also join the two-panel discussions on the topic of “From subscription to publishing models: Developing a sustainable open information system”, and “Leveraging the potential of emerging social media by libraries” during the IMT Ghaziabad 21st International Conference.

Amy Memon, Regional Head of South Asia for AACSB will attend the event as the Chief Guest along with K S Casimir, Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR. Additionally, IMT Ghaziabad Director Vishal Talwar, M G Sreekumar, Director of Libraries, Jio Institute, and Akhtar Parvez, University Librarian, Maulana Azad National Urdu University will attend the event.
