IIT Mandi to Launch Training & Learning Programs with NSDC and HPKVN; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mandi has joined hands with the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC), and Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) to offer training and learning programs in various domains by the end of June 2023.

As per IIT Mandi, the institute has taken this initiative with NSDC and HPKVN to offer interested candidates an opportunity to learn and enhance their practical skills in various domains through professional training. The programs will commence for a duration of 1-2 months. 

Informing about the courses, Professor Tushar Jain, Head, Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), IIT Mandi, said, “CCE, IIT Mandi is offering new age courses sponsored by HPKVN, which are specifically designed for the youth of Himachal Pradesh".

"These courses provide an opportunity for the youth to enhance their skills and knowledge in domains such as AI, ML, IoT, Robotics and Industrial Automation", he added. The registration process for these courses is open on the official website of IIT Mandi till June 15, 2023.

Throughout the course curriculum, participants will have the option to stay on campus grounds or join the classes through online means. These training courses will be free for students of Himachali youth and the tuition fee, as well as a hostel, food and other expenses, are waived. 

These training courses are designed to make Himachali candidates job-ready and increase their employability prospects. It will mainly focus on cutting-edge domains such as AI, ML, IoT, and Industrial Automation and provide participants with practical knowledge and training.

After the completion of the IIT Mandi Program 2023, the institute will offer various placement opportunities to participants in their fields of interest, allowing them to secure employment in top industries. For more details, visit the official website of IIT Mandi at iitmandi.ac.
