The Central government is conducting the Yuva Sangam Phase IV visits under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) programme which was conceptualised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

IIT Kanpur to be the Nodal Institute from UP for Yuva Sangam Phase IV

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has been chosen as the nodal institute of Uttar Pradesh for Phase IV of Yuva Sangam. 

IIT Kanpur has been paired with the Central University of Karnataka to host the program in UP. On March 3, 2024, youth delegates from Karnataka had arrived for the Yuva Sangam and shall attend the event till March 7, 2024. The group includes approximately 43 students and two faculty or staff members.

What is Yuva Sangam Phase IV?

Yuva Sangam is an ongoing cultural exchange with celebration of diversity at its core wherein participants gain an immersive experience of diverse facets of life, natural landforms, development landmarks, recent achievements, and youth connect in the host state through exposure tours of 5-7 days. 

During these tours, participants get multi-dimensional exposure under five broad areas, 5 Ps, i.e., Paryatan (Tourism), Parampara (Traditions), Pragati (Development), Prodyogik (Technology) and Paraspar Sampark (People-to-people connect).

The Central government is conducting the Yuva Sangam Phase IV visits under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) programme which was conceptualised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The aim of the program is to o establish a secular cultural bond among the diverse States/UTs of India.
