IIM Bodh Gaya Begins PhD Admission 2026; Apply Till March 31 @iimbg.ac.in

IIM Bodh Gaya has opened applications for its PhD Admission 2026 cycle, with the application deadline set for March 31, 2026. The institute has released the complete admission policy outlining eligibility criteria, required test scores, selection stages, and important dates for the upcoming academic session.

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) held by the IIMs. Alternatively, those who have qualified GATE, GRE, GMAT, JRF (UGC/CSIR/or equivalent) or IIM Bangalore RAT examinations can also apply in the relevant area of specialisation.

The date of examination for GATE/GRE/GMAT/JRF must be 1st July 2023 or after, and its score/result must be valid on or after 1st January 2026. Scores of CAT 2023, CAT 2024 and CAT 2025 will be considered. Scores of or IIM Bangalore RAT October 2025 and February 2026 will be considered. Admission to the programme is open to Indian citizens only.

The application fee is ₹250 for SC/ST/PwD and female applicants, and ₹500 for all other candidates. Those receiving an admission offer must pay an acceptance amount of ₹30,000, which will be adjusted against the security deposit. A registration fee of ₹2,000 is payable at admission, along with an annual renewal fee of ₹1,000.
