The Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2023 science talent search test brochure was released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) on August 3, 2023. Candidates may register for Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2023 at the official website.

New Delhi: Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), the nation's scientific talent search test based on digital gadgets, was officially launched at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) on August 3, 2023.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), and Vijnana Bharati have joined forces to create Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2023, which aims to identify and nurture students' scientific potential.

Students from Classes 6 through 11 from all Boards can register for the exam on vvm.org.in. On October 29 and/or 30, 2023, the test will run for 90 minutes between 10 AM and 6 PM. The results will be made public on November 10, 2023.

As per IIT Kanpur, the state-level camp will provide 120 kids from Uttar Pradesh the chance to take part. Cash awards of Rs 5000, Rs 3000, and Rs 2000 will be given to the top 18 performers, respectively. The top 12 kids will go to the national camp. A district-level certificate will be given to each participant.

The exam will consist of 100 questions, the most of which will be application-based, with 90 minutes allotted for answers. The deadline to submit an application for Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is September 15, 2023.

The Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2023–24 edition will provide participants with special opportunities, such as training and internships (01–03 weeks) at renowned national research institutions or laboratories, like the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), etc. for the national (Himalayans) and regional winners. 

They would also receive a scholarship worth Rs 2000 every month. The national champion (Himalayans) will also receive an honourable project or activity for a year that will be reviewed on a regular basis.
