IIT Gandhinagar Early Admission 2024-25 for MTech/MSc, PhD Programmes Open; Apply till October 8

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT Gandhinagar) has begun the early application process for the MTech/MSc programmes and PhD programmes for the academic session 2024-25. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @iitgn.ac.in, till October 8, 2023.
 

According to the IIT Gandhinagar calendar for Early Admit MTech/MSc programmes and Start Early PhD programme, the classes will commence in the month of July 2024. Since there's no requirement for the GATE exam, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the written test followed by an interview during the stipulated time frame.

IIT Gandhinagar MTech Eligibility Criteria

Tabulated below are the eligibility criteria for the Early Admit MTech/MSc, Start Early PhD Programme 2024-25. 

• Final-year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from NITs must have a CPI/CGPA of at least 8.0 (for General/EWS/OBC) or a CPI/CGPA of at least 7.5 (for SC/ST/PwD) by the end of their 3rd year.

• Final-year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from selected colleges, including NITs, who rank within the top 5 in their departments by the end of their 3rd year (for General/EWS/OBC) or top 10 rank holders (for SC/ST/PwD) are eligible.

• Students from final-year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) programs at IITs must have a CPI/CGPA of at least 6.0 at the end of their 3rd year.

IIT Gandhinagar MSc Eligibility Criteria

• Students who will be completing their BSc degrees in 2024 and rank within the top 5 in their department (for General/EWS/OBC) or the top 10 (for SC/ST) by the end of their pre-final year in select colleges are eligible to apply.

• Similarly, BTech students set to graduate in 2024 from NITs and select colleges and who secure a place among the top 5 in their department (for General/EWS/OBC) or the top 10 (for SC/ST) at the conclusion of their pre-final year are eligible to submit applications.

• Furthermore, BTech students from IITs who are on track to graduate in 2024 and maintain a CPI/CGPA of at least 6.0 by the end of their 3rd year are eligible to apply.

IIT Gandhinagar PhD Eligibility Criteria

• In their final year, BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from NITs must attain a CPI/CGPA of at least 8.0 (for General/EWS/OBC) or a CPI/CGPA of at least 7.5 (for SC/ST/PwD) by the conclusion of their 3rd year.
• Final-year BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) students from specific colleges, which may include NITs, should be within the top 5 rank holders in their respective departments at the conclusion of their 3rd year (for General/EWS/OBC) or within the top 10 rank holders (for SC/ST/PwD).
• Students in their final year of BTech (or equivalent undergraduate degree in Engineering) from IITs must maintain a CPI/CGPA of at least 6.0 at the culmination of their 3rd year to be eligible.

Step 3: Now, click on it and Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile number, Email ID etc.

Step 4: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all the details in the Application form.

Step 5: Review all the details and submit the Application form. 

Step 6: Finally, take a printout of the form for all future needs.
