IIT Gandhinagar and AIT Thailand Offers Double Degree Master’s Program

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar has collaborated with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand to offer a Double-Degree Master’s Program (DDMP). Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply for the August semester by July 15, 2024. Check the direct link to apply below!

This program will have two semesters (one year) at the Asian Institute of Technology and two at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. The participants will have extensive placement opportunities and network with industry leaders, businesses, NGOs, and governmental bodies across Asia. Both institutions will also offer on-campus residence facilities and assist students with e-visa processing.

To apply for admission, candidates need to enter their name, mail ID, phone number, bachelor’s degree details, and master's degree details on the official website. After completing this program, candidates can earn two postgraduate degrees, each awarded by one of the partnering institutions.

The program aims to enhance educational opportunities and promote academic exchange between these institutes. The DDMP covers various courses, including Data Science and AI, Bio-Nano Materials Science and Engineering, and Environmental Engineering and Management. 

IIT Gandhinagar spokesperson stated, “IITGN and AIT will also offer extensive networking opportunities with industry leaders, business executives, NGOs, and governmental agencies across Asia so that students graduate as market-ready professionals.”

Ques. Who is eligible for IIT Gandhinagar DDMP Admission 2024?

Ans. To be eligible, applicants must hold a four-year Bachelor's degree, have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.75 out of 4.0 or an equivalent score, and have proficiency in English. They must score 6 in either the AIT-EET or the IELTS.

Ques. Will the students get certificates after completing IIT Gandhinagar DDMP?

Ans. After completing IIT Gandhinagar DDMP, candidates can get two-degree certificates issued by IIT Gandhinagar and AIT Thailand.
