IIM Visakhapatnam PGPMCI Round 2 Admission 2026 Open

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam has opened Round 2 admissions for its Post-Graduate Program in Management for the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (PGPMCI) for the academic year 2026. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications online till January 31, 2026.

As per the official schedule, the application window for Round 2 is open from December 11, 2025, to January 31, 2026. The IIM Visakhapatnam Aptitude Test will be conducted in online mode on February 8, 2026. Admission offers for candidates who opt for this round during application are expected to be released in mid-February 2026.

The programme will formally commence in the second week of March 2026, beginning with the virtual inauguration and orientation. Term 1 classes are scheduled to start in the same period in online mode. Module 1 of the programme will conclude in February 2027, followed by the convocation for Module 1 in April 2027. Module 2 is scheduled to begin in June 2027.

The PGPMCI programme at IIM Visakhapatnam is designed for students from NITs, IIITs, other Institutions of National Importance, and Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) graduates.

The PGPMCI programme is conducted in two modules - Module 1 (Diploma in Business Management) and Module 2 (MBA). Admission to Module 1 is open to eligible B.Tech/M. Tech students and recent graduates who meet category-wise academic cut-offs.

Selection is based on academic performance, gender diversity, and scores in the IIMV Aptitude Test or valid CAT/GRE/GMAT scores. Applications are submitted online with a nominal fee, and final admission offers are issued based on a merit list prepared by the institute.
