IIM Raipur conducted a 5 day MDP program for NIELIT

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has concluded a 5-day MDP on Academic Leadership Programme for National Institute of Electronics Information Technology (NIELIT).
The MDP conducted by IIM Raipur aims at equipping the senior executives with management knowledge and general management orientation which will help them develop leadership skills in education and achieve India’s progress through global academic standard.
The participants in this Academic Leadership Programme comprises director, joint directors, scientists, state head across almost all Indian states including the head office at Delhi.
The inauguration ceremony took place on Jun 11 and was attended by senior executives of NIELIT, the Programme Directors – Professor Sumeet Gupta and Professor Manojit Chattopadhyay, Professor Sanjeev Prashar, and Professor Ritu Gupta Chairperson EL&DC.
The sessions covered topics such as digital transformation, strategic skills for academic leadership, emotional intelligence, stress management at work, recruitment and talent management, marketing management, team building, vision, mission, and goal setting, digital and social media marketing, project management, effective communication strategies, understanding accounting ratios and balance sheet, finance for managers, audit and GFR, information systems decision making, procurement management, and data-driven decision making.
The MDP is a part of IIM Raipur’s mission of enhancing management excellence in the nation and facilitating nation-building.
