IIM CAP has increased the overall CAT percentile from 94 to 95 for the General category and from 77 to 81 for the EWS category for MBA admissions for the 2025-27 academic year. Read the article for more details.
IIM Nagpur has started admissions for MBA programs for the academic year 2025-27. The institute has made changes in the number of admission seats. The seat intake for MBA 2025-27 has increased from 99 to 128 for the General category and from 28 to 36 for the EWS category.

The seat intake has increased from 76 to 94 for the NC-OBC category and from 14 to 18 for the DAP (Horizontal Reservation) category. Similarly, the seat intake has increased from 42 to 54 for the SC category and from 21 to 27 for the ST category.
IIM CAP 2025 Schedule
IIM CAP registrations have been closed. However, Slot Booking is open till February 3, 2025. Candidates can check the remaining CAP 2025 schedule from the table below:

VARC, DILR, and QA percentiles have increased from 73 to 75 for the General category and from 50 to 55 for the EWS category, showing an increase of 2 and 5 percentiles respectively.
Similarly, VARC, DILR, and QA percentiles have increased from 50 to 52 for the NC-OBC category and from 44 to 45 for the SC category, showing an increase of 2 and 1 percentiles respectively.
The overall CAT percentile, VARC, DILR, and QA percentiles have not been changed for the ST and DAP (Horizontal Reservation) categories.
IIM Nagpur MBA Admission Process 2025-27
The admission process at IIM Nagpur for the MBA 2025-27 will be carried out in 3 stages. The selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024, Past Academic Performance (PAP), Work Experience (WE), Gender Diversity (GDI), Personal Interview (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT).
The selection process includes:
- Stage 1: Shortlisting of candidates applied in CAP for PI Process.
- Stage 2: Offline PI and WAT conducted for candidates shortlisted in Stage 1 as directed by CAP conducting IIM.
- Stage 3: Final selection of candidates based on calculation of Final Scores (FS) by IIM Nagpur.
NOTE: IIM Nagpur has included the Written Ability Test (WAT) in the admission process for MBA 2025-27. WAT was not a part of the admission process for MBA 2024-26.
