IIM Kashipur Hosted Inspiring TEDx Event on 'Dwell and Conquer'

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management, IIM Kashipur has hosted an inspiring TEDx event focusing on the theme 'Dwell and Conquer'. Several accomplished speakers, excelling in their respective domains shared insights on guiding the youth toward realising the vision of a new India. 

As part of the IIM Kashipur chapter of the globally recognized TEDx Talks, the students interacted with the perspectives of distinguished personalities.

Distinguished speakers from the field of IT, literature, entrepreneurship, and defense were welcomed to participate in this ambitious program hosted on the IIM Kashipur campus. Their aim was to share perspectives on the theme and inspire the minds of the young students.

The TEDx event featured insights from Vartul Mittal, an expert in Information Technology, who delved into the vast potential of technological innovation. Mittal outlined the pathway to create wonders in the digital transformation of the country. 

He also shared thought-provoking insights on the power of data, and its consumption, and highlighted the world's current and future dependence on data analytics. 

On this occasion, Renowned Author Nitish Raj explained the art of storytelling and highlighted literature's role in contributing to the social transformation of the country. He further added that students can keep literature alive within themselves through reading or writing.

The TEDx event at IIM Kashipur also displayed Ashwani Dhawan from Broadway Infotech, who redefined the role of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) in an organisation.

Among the visionary speakers who illuminated the event were Jyoti Jha, an HR professional turned storyteller, Gaurav Kejriwal, Vice President at EXL Analytics and an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, Business Leader Kanishk Agarwal, Vadhan, a constitutional lawyer and author, Harshita Rao Motaparthi, Founder of Mile Active, social media sensation Ella D’ Verma, and Major Prajakta Desai, the first woman officer in the Indian Army to qualify as a UAV Observer Pilot.
