CAT is the single gateway to all 21 IIMs and over 1,200 other B-schools in India. A single application also opens the door to programmes at FMS, MDI, SPJIMR, IITs, and IMT. Missing the CAT 2026 window means waiting a full year for the next attempt.

  2. Keep a scanned photo and signature in the required format ready.
  3. Arrange your Class 10, Class 12, and degree marksheets in soft copy.
  4. Keep a valid category or PwD certificate if you plan to claim reservation.
  5. Ensure your debit card, credit card, or net banking is active for the fee.
  6. Shortlist your preferred test cities and IIM programmes in advance.
