What Happens if a Candidate Misses the Fee Payment Window?
The allotted seat is automatically cancelled once the deadline expires. The candidate loses the current Round 1 allotment completely. Such candidates can still participate in the upcoming Round 2 process.
Round 1 typically fills most ITEP seats at the top DU colleges. Skipping the fee window pushes candidates into a smaller Round 2 pool with reduced college and subject choices.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Log in to itep.uod.ac.in and check the Round 1 allotment status.
- Accept the allotted seat within the portal deadline.
- Upload all required documents for online verification by the allotted college.
- Arrange the full admission fee in advance to avoid last-minute payment issues.
- Complete the fee payment before August 16, 2026 to confirm the seat.
- Save the fee receipt and provisional admission slip for the college.
DU will declare the ITEP 2026 Round 2 seat allotment on August 18. Candidates should track admission.uod.ac.in for upgrade options and vacant seat updates.
